‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal that during the October 16th episode of DOOL, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) FINALLY told Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) what needed to be said for months now.
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Chad And Cat Are Constantly Judged By The Horton Family
Between Julie’s unrelenting disapproval of Cat Greene (AnnaLynn McCord) and Jennifer Horton Deveraux’s (Melissa Reeves) endless tirades and straight-up hypocrisy, when Chad finally had enough and laid into Julie, we couldn’t have been more on his side today.
Poor Chad finally found a woman with whom he can move on from years of pining for his late wife, Abigail Deveraux DiMera (Marci Miller). Unfortunately, no one on Abby’s side of the family wants Chad to be with her.

If we had it our way, Chad would say, “tough” and choose Cat, whom he truly cares for. Sadly, Chad feels a misguided sense of obligation to his son, Thomas DiMera (Cary Christopher), to break it off with her.
The Hortons tend to be very judgmental and self-righteous, which we have mentioned countless times, but this is the worst they have ever behaved toward another human being, and frankly, it’s appalling.
Yes, Cat posed as Chad’s late wife, but she’s more than made up for her mistakes. If Chad has chosen to forgive her, then the Hortons should accept that and let Chad live his life.

We loved it when Chad asked Julie, “What more can I do? Do you want me to take my kids and go live in a monastery? Do you want to give me a list of acceptable dates and have me pick one?”
Good for Chad!! His long-overdue speech to Julie was awesome! We have been waiting for him to stand up for himself and let the Hortons know that they can’t control his life.
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Chad And Cat Deserve A Chance To Explore Their Connection
Watching Chad break up with Cat was heartbreaking. These are two people who care for each other, and all they want is the opportunity to see where their relationship could lead. They deserve to explore their potential as a couple.
Yet, the Horton family has been incredibly unforgiving, and all we have to say is that people who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones.

Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) once raped Kayla Brady Johnson (Mary Beth Evans). Saint Jennifer forgave him for his heinous crime.
However, in Jennifer’s mind, it’s fine for her to be married to a rapist, but when it comes to Cat, she won’t budge.
While we hate to agree with Jeremy Horton (Michael Roark), he’s 100 percent right in this situation. He told Chad that no one had the right to judge him or Cat for wanting to embark on a romance.
Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: The Hortons Need To Give Chad A Break
The Hortons need to finally come to the realization that they aren’t perfect either. These people have also made their own share of mistakes.
Julie is simply ridiculous, and Jennifer has become the most irritating character on the soap. If someone has shown remorse for their misdeeds, they should be afforded a second chance.

No matter what Chad says or does, it’s not enough for them. He broke up with Cat, and he’s still being judged. What exactly do they expect from Chad?
It’s unfair of them to demand that he give up a woman who could very well be the next great love of his life to appease them and make them feel comfortable. Chad shouldn’t listen to them. He should listen to his heart.
Chad and Cat are a sweet and fun couple. It’s a shame Chad felt he had to end it with her. We hope Chad realizes how absurd this situation is and reevaluates his decision.
