    'Days of Our Lives' Spoilers: Soap World Rocked By Tragic Passing!

    ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers finds says that the world of soaps was rocked this week when we heard that Roccina “Rocci” Chatfield had died at the age of 93. She is known for her amazing writing on shows such as My Three Sons, Little House on the Prairie, Knots Landing, and ‘Days of Our Lives’. She actually won two Daytime Emmys for her work on ‘Days’.

    ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Mourning a Television Legend

    Chatfield had been writing for television for over thirty years and she was part of the TV Academy as well. She was the governor of the Writers Peer Group and was on the Academy’s Executive Committee. She was known throughout the world of television as a visionary and a legend.

    Born in Boulder, Colorado, Chatfield started her career in Hollywood in the 1960’s. That is when she began to work on My Three Sons. Shortly after, she started working on the 80’s television dramas, Falcon Crest and Knots Landing. This put her in some great Hollywood social scenes of the time.

    DOOL Spoilers: Roccina “Rocci” Chatfield Passes Away

    When Chatfield began to write for ‘Days of Our Lives’, it was in 1978. She grew more and more famous as her time writing on the show went on. She was on many committees at the time and was known throughout the world of Hollywood television.

    Chatfield was a very dedicated writer to the world of television and she will truly be missed. She lived an amazing life and she died of natural causes. We are all very saddened by this lose, but we know that the world of soap operas is a much better place knowing that she helped to write some of the best soap operas that we have ever watched!

    In her hometown, in Boulder, they actually made April 30, 2016, the Rocci Chatfield Appreciation Day. This is an incredible honor for her and to show just how much she meant to this city.
