‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) has a bone to pick. When Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) came to the ill-fated Grant/Price wedding Tuesday, November 5th with an unexpected guest, she went on the attack. It’s understandable. There was a bad history. However, sometimes it’s better to leave well enough alone. Here’s what you need to know.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Marlena Her Own Worst Enemy, Starts Feud With Xander!
Obviously, Marlena has every reason to object to Xander Cook’s (Paul Telfer) presence. He did, as she pointed out, try to kill her at her own wedding. That’s enough to make anyone angry. It’s also something that’s not likely to be forgiven.
However, we’re curious if she is as vocal with Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) about letting Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) live in Casa Kiriakis. She is, after all, the real architect of her ordeal. Yes, he’s looking out for his baby, but there are ways to do that without letting her live with him. He’d just have to actually take some time to come up with one. Like, oh, hiring a nurse to stay with her? #JustSaying

‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers: A time and place
As rightful as she is to be angry at him, there is a time and place for things. The wedding that wasn’t already had enough drama going on. Plus, she was sort of making assumptions about the situation, which never ends well. In fact, Sarah made it clear this was a one-time thing and that she was leaving town.
‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers: History repeats
In another case of Salem creating its own monsters (or reawakening them), Marlena was her own worst enemy here. Xander Cook has been a relatively good boy since the Kristen thing. He’s trying hard to be a new man, and this really kicked up a notch with Sarah. Xander made it clear during the confrontation that he had no problem with Marlena Evans personally.
Still, she persisted. This is where we wonder about the survival instinct in Salem. It’s odd how they keep trying to confront and push the very people they feel are the most dangerous. A calmer, more logical approach would be to keep an eye on him and get him nailed for something the second he slips up. Not to call attention to yourself. Because she didn’t, as soon as Sarah left, Xander then pointed out that he now does have a problem with Marlena.
‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers: Looking ahead
It seems pretty obvious that there is going to be a problem. There are two ways we can see this happening. One, is to have a quick plot that wraps up before the time jump said to happen on November 8th. The other, would be for Xander to be particularly cunning and take that year or two years (we’re not sure which yet.
Both have been cited) to come up with a plan and slowly execute it over time, which we could see the aftereffects of. Either way, we don’t expect Xander to just forgive and forget. Especially if Sarah Horton really doesn’t stick around. For any other soap opera and entertainment news, please visit Daily Soap Dish.
