“It felt comfortable because it’s such a nice group of people.
She told the outlet,
“Everyone there is working so hard under pressure, and they really do their work as best as they can.”
Sorel said,
“They’re happy to be working, so it’s very nice to be there. It’s a work atmosphere that’s very sweet.”

Vivian has already cooked up some trouble since she’s lied, possibly about a lot of things. It’s a very popular theory that Vivian is lying through her teeth about Stefan DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) death.
We have to concur. It’s highly possible that Stefan isn’t dead. After all, he was kidnapped against his will and brought to Alemania for the sole purpose of keeping Stefan and Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) apart. Vivian is definitley hiding something.
Vivian is genuinely superb at playing innocent while concocting a devious and potentially devastating scheme. Dimitri Von Leuschner(Peter Porte) was arrested in the February 9th episode of DOOL.

‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Viewers Know Vivian Is Capable of Anything
We know that’s the work of Vivian Alamain. Vivian also teamed up with Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien), who is seeking revenge on Dimitri. Additionally, Vivian is most likely lying about Stefan’s death, and she’s also spinning tales either to exact revenge, fool everyone, hide something, or all three of the above.
Sorel plays Vivian to juicy, wicked perfection. This is a woman who buried Carly Manning (Crystal Chappell) alive. She’s capable of anything.
“Circumstances prevented her from returning to the role twice before.”

The outlet is referring to the times when others took the reins to portray Vivian. Robin Strasser, who is known for her role asDorian Lordon One Life to Live, stepped into Sorel’s shoes.
Later, Linda Dano, known for playing Felicia Gallant onAnother World, also played Vivian when Sorel wasn’t available.
Sorel didn’t feel comfortable traveling during COVID. The actress admitted,
“I mean, I think anyone would say this, but I feel ownership of the role, and it’s hard for me to think of it not being mine, but you know, things happen.”
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Sorel is also a Self-Published Author
Sorel also feels that humor is important in a soap, despite the genre’s dramatic nature. That’s why it was difficult for her during the times when her character was written off the show. Yet, she takes it in stride, knowing that’s the nature of the beast called soaps.
The soap icon also has a secret talent besides her acting prowess. She loves to write. The self-published book she released in 2025 was called “If There Were No Dogs.”

It’s a collection of her personal reflections and poems. She’s journaled throughout her life, writing about everything from her childhood to her animal activism and her love of dogs.
Even though she’s a gifted author, Sorel’s true love remains acting. She told TV Insider that she would be open to Vivian potentially returning for a longer arc on DOOL.
Despite her having a proven track record of lying, everyone seems to think Stefan is truly gone. Yet, we have a feeling Vivian still has a few tricks up her sleeve that will rock Salem.
Sorel shared how much she appreciates playing such a colorful character like Vivian,
“I love that character. I’m from the theater, and you do a show, and then it’s gone, you don’t stay in character. But I kind of fell in love with Vivian, and I felt sort of a loss when I wasn’t playing her.”
