‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers confirm that Louise Sorel returns to DOOL as the legendary villainess Vivian Alamain, the week of January 26th to 30th.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Vivan Is One of the Most Memorable Characters On Daytime TV
We suspect revenge is on her mind as spoilers hint that Vivian may help Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) get revenge on Dimitri Von Leuschner (Peter Porte).
Since Vivian is an expert in forgery, perhaps she’ll help Gwen keep control of Dimitri’s inheritance. Sorel made her DOOL debut in 1992 and exited the soap in 2000. She’s no stranger to comebacks.

She returned to the show from 2009 to 2011, 2017 to 2018, in 2023, 2024, and 2025. Her last appearance was last April when she revealed the secret that she had forged Victor Kiriakis’s(John Aniston) will to make Philip Kiriakis (John Paul Laviosier) his successor at Titan.
Vivian is one of the most memorable and bada** villainesses on daytime television. Possibly her most dastardly deed was when she shocked viewers by burying Carly Manning (Crystal Chappell) alive in 1992.
We also question whether her son, Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash), is really dead, like she told Peter Blake (Dan Gauthier). Apparently, Stefan’s heart, which was given to him by his twin brother, Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash), gave out on him.
Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) remarked that if Stefan were really gone, she would know it in her heart, which we have to agree with.
We are highly uncertain whether Vivian was telling the truth or not about Stefan. Louise Sorel loves playing the comedic villain, which she accomplishes with gusto.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Sorel Won Five Soap Opera Digest Awards
“All she does is grab for things and manipulate things, which she’s been doing from the very beginning.”
She continued,
“Of course, so much has happened over the years. The stories change. The needs of people change. The needs of people change.”
Sorel added,
“So, there are adjustments being made, but hopefully, she still has the same annoying personality. She’s the same person with the same sort of desperation and humor.”

The actress also shared that whenever she returns to the show, it’s not difficult to “find her character again.” Vivian is a part of Sorel.
She explained,
“The essence of Vivian is still there. It’s sort of tucked away inside me somewhere, because I’m really not like that at all. I’ve just sort of created something, and I’m trying to bring it back.”

Sorel won five Soap Opera Digest Awards between 1994 and 1999 for Outstanding Villainess, Showstopper, and Scene Stealer.
With Vivan’s return comes a lot of excitement. Vivian is a highly entertaining and unpredictable character. Fans never know what she’s going to do next.
