One of her last scenes before time flashed forward found her confronting Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) about his plans to marry Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves). She didn’t want to let him live happily-ever-after with another. Jack’s willingness to go down with her over Eve’s shady dealings while Commissioner changed her mind. She decided to sign the papers to keep him quiet. But was it enough?

‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers: Ironic twist
Strangely enough, covering Claire Brady’s (Olivia Rose Keegan) pyro ways to frame Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) didn’t land her behind bars. It was something else. In an ironic twist of fate, we learn Eve is the victim of a frame job herself. ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal that doctored security footage had her taking the blame for Jennifer’s fall. She’s spent the better part of a year waiting for Jennifer to wake and exonerate her. Sadly for her, that didn’t happen. Jennifer can’t remember anything. Nothing bites back better than karma, and she’s getting her fair share.
‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers: Looking ahead
That security footage was clearly the work of Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay), or his boss. That boss is, of course, rumored to be Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo). ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers have been pointing to his survival for a long time, although it’s unclear still how that looks. They could recast the role, or keep him a shadowy figure. So far, all we’ve seen is a hand in Princess Gina (Kristian Alfonso) and Rolf’s lair of evil. With Rolf’s evil–and twisted–genius, and Stefano’s resources, the doctored evidence is likely a perfect forgery. However, they have one obstacle standing in the way. Jennifer could remember the truth at any time. This will ruin everything and expose one of Rolf’s most prized projects.
For now, there’s still a lot of uncertainty surrounding the situation. Again, is this Stefano? Will we see a face? Will Princess Gina arrange a tragedy to keep things quiet? If this radical shakeup has taught anything, it’s that the writers consider everything possible. Fans are just going to have to wait for whatever clues they throw our way over the coming days and months.
