‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers confirm that Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) is set to find out from Grandpa Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) that EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) raped his mother, Sami Brady (Allison Sweeny), and that’s how he was conceived.
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: EJ Agreed To Save Lucas Only If Sami Had Sex With Him
The Day of Days preview showed a clip of Johnny taking a swing at his father at the DiMera mansion. At the time, Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) and Sami were trapped in a snowstorm, and as Lucas’s life was in danger, EJ agreed to save him only if Sami had sex with him.
Sami became pregnant with twins. The first paternity test revealed that Lucas was the father of both babies. However, a second paternity test was conducted, which showed that Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) was Lucas’s daughter, and EJ was Johnny’s father.
However, it has been speculated that perhaps EJ may not be Johnny’s father. Spoilers indicate that when Hurricane Sami returns to Salem, she’ll have a bombshell to drop on EJ. Does this mean Johnny is really Lucas’s son?
Days fans have pondered this question for a long time. First of all, it’s rare for twins to have different fathers. Apparently, it’s happened before, but it’s rare.
The strange phenomenon is superfecundation when a woman becomes pregnant a second time after already being pregnant.
According to the Cleaveland Clinic,
“It’s so uncommon that cases of superfecundation often make headlines.”
Another factor involved is Stefano DiMera (Joesph Mascolo), who could have switched the paternity test to show that EJ was Johnny’s father.
Sons are very important to DiMeras, as they carry on the family legacy. It’s possible the test was faulty. EJ was devasted when he discovered that Jude Brady (Oliver McLarty) wasn’t his son with Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) but continued to pass him off as his.

It’s not far-fetched to think manipulative Stefano wanted EJ to believe Johnny was his son. It’s always been weird that Allie belongs to Lucas while EJ is supposedly Johnny’s father.
That means that the revelation that EJ once raped Sami could come out as EJ and Johnny find out they aren’t father and son.
Johnny may be ready to write off EJ when he learns the truth. Johnny obviously knows that EJ is a DiMera, but when it’s disclosed that he’s also a rapist, it will cut Johnny to the core.
The question remains: will Johnny also blame Sami, who kept the truth about his father hidden all this time? Johnny will likely wonder how his mother could have married her rapist. Roman may need to explain some of this before Johnny confronts his mother.
When this information is revealed, Johnny may lose all respect for EJ. We can almost hear Johnny accuse EJ of being an entitled, ego-driven, selfish man who always gets what he wants.
Actress Allison Sweeny is set to return to Days sometime in 2025. When asked about her next storyline, she responded that it would be unexpected. This may involve the revelation that EJ raped Sami, and perhaps Lucas is really Johnny’s father after all.
