‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers tease that DOOL may be hinting at an Abigail Deveraux DiMera (last played by Marci Miller) return.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Chad Asked EJ if Abigail Was the DiMera in the Pod
Last week, Conner Floyd made his long-awaited debut as Chad DiMera. One of his first stops was to see EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) at the DiMera mansion.
Chad wanted answers about who was in the pod and was very suspicious of his brother. EJ was insulted that Chad would think that he would keep a secret that monumental from him.
Chad also mentioned that EJ once had feelings for Abigail and wouldn’t put it past him to bring her back so he could have her to himself.
However, EJ told Chad that he felt extreme empathy for Chad and his kids over the loss of Abby and would never do anything to hurt him.
DOOL viewers know that the Peacock soap has been foreshadowing a possible Abigail return for years now. Remember, Abigail’s grave was dug up, and her body is missing.
Many fans have been waiting for a “Chabby” reunion, and what better way to bring Abigail back than for Sofia Mattsson to play the beautiful heroine?
Rumors have been swirling for some time now that the show may go in that direction. After all, it looks like EJ and Cat Greene (AnnaLynn McCord) will be getting together.
Meanwhile, Chad is still pining over his late wife and the family they built together. Sure, he told Belle Black (Martha Madison) they would go on a date.
Yet, we don’t see them becoming a serious item as Chad’s heart still belongs to Abigail. EJ had also said before that there are more “subjects” to bring back to life.

Also, Chad isn’t the only character to suggest that Abigail is in the pod. Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) was talking to Cat when he surmised that Abby was one of Dr. Wilhelm Rolf’s (Richard Wharton) subjects.
Soaps don’t just constantly mention a supposedly dead character for no reason. That’s soaps 101. It’s highly likely that EJ isn’t telling Chad something.
Additionally, Clyde Weston (James Read) hinted that he knew where Abby’s body was before he was shot and ended up in a coma.
EJ and Dr. Rolf have brought back Lexie Carver (Nikki Crawford). Granted, she hasn’t awakened as of yet, but DOOL spoilers indicate that it’s coming soon.
Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Since When Has Death Meant Anything in Salem?
DOOL also has a proclivity toward bringing characters back from the dead, especially when Dr. Rolf is involved. Death tends not to mean much in Salem.
Plus, if EJ is going to the trouble of bringing someone back from the grave, it’s likely going to be a DiMera. We wouldn’t be surprised if EJ were planning more resurrections.
After all, EJ stands to make an obscene amount of money on his project with Dr. Rolf. He’s also wearing Stefano DiMera’s ring, which apparently holds some mystical power and makes him more like his father.
DOOL also hasn’t had much luck pairing Chad with anyone besides Abigail. Chad’s relationship with Cat wasn’t very well-received by the fans.
Still, we haven’t gotten much of a read on the chemistry between Chad and Cat now that Conner Floyd has assumed the role.
That said, we all know that Abby is the love of Chad’s life, and with Sofia Mattsson coming to DOOL to play a “mystery role” it’s highly possible that a Chad and Abigail reunion is in the works.
