Days of Our Lives spoilers predict that something wicked this way comes in Salem. We have a theory that Marlena Evans’s (Deidre Hall) spirit could be possessed by Stefano DiMera (last played by Stefano).
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Marlena Hypnotized EJ, Who St Can’t Recall The Shooter
Belle Black (Martha Madison) convinced EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) to let Marlena hypnotize him. The purpose of hypnosis was to help EJ remember who shot him.
EJ claimed that the hypnosis was unsuccessful. Yet, viewers recall that during hypnosis, EJ asked someone, “Now why don’t you hand me that?”
His tone sounded as if he might have been speaking to a child. What if that child were his young niece, Rachel Black (Alice Halsey)
EJ seems to have a significant amount of difficulty remembering past the point of his argument with Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman).
Johnny ended up changing his mind, giving his father the gun, and leaving. Rachel remembered that Johnny showed up at the mansion with a gun. EJ can’t seem to remember the person who actually pulled the trigger.
Marlena may have planted a suggestion to prevent his memories from coming to the surface. We can imagine Marlena being torn between whether to set her grandson, Johnny, free or protect Rachel.
Many Days fans already suspect little Rachel is responsible for the shooting. We think Rachel may have shot her uncle EJ because he sent her other grandmother, Rachel Blake (Roslyn Gentle), away.
The other possibility is that the traumatized little girl picked up the gun and accidentally shot EJ. Marlena may feel more compelled to keep little Rachel from being taken away by Child Protective Services. She may think EJ can win Johnny’s case.
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Marlena Had Strange Dreams About Herself As Stefano’s “Queen Of The Night”
After all, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Kristen DiMera (Stacey Haiduk) went to great lengths to protect little Rachel from CPS.
However, Marlena has a strong moral compass. We’re unsure whether she’d cover up a crime unless there was more to the story.
Susan Banks (Stacey Haiduk) senses darkness in Marlena. She also claims to sense Stefano’s presence strongly at the DiMera mansion.
Additionally, Marlena has been reading little Rachel stories from the Arabian Nights book. Stefano used this book for mind control in the past.
The book could be a trigger that is bringing Marlena strange dreams about her being Stefano’s “Queen of the Night.” Plus, Marlena has also recently received a clean bill of health.
What if Stefano has somehow possessed both Marlena and Rachel? In the Days summer preview, Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay) appears to be resurrecting someone from a cryogenic chamber.
We hear Tony DiMera’s (Thaao Penghlis) voice in the background, saying, “It’s almost time, father.” We don’t think the Peacock soap would recast Stefano since the actor who played him passed away.
However, it could be Stefano in another form. We highly doubt Marlena would knowingly keep the truth hidden when her grandson is on trial.
Something darker must be at play. We suspect that Stefano may be pulling the strings. As a general rule in Salem, Stefano never really dies.
As Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) recently admitted about the great Stefano DiMera, “There’s a reason he’s known as The Phoenix.”
