Days of Our Lives spoilers for Thursday, July 24: Hypnosis to the rescue
First, Days of Our Lives spoilers tease EJ has taken Belle Black (Martha Madison) to heart. Teasers say his relationship with Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) changes as he shares a session with her. Obviously, he is getting hypnosis done to unlock his memories of the shooting. There are a couple things will make this interesting.
One, we saw from the preview EJ was clearly distressed by whatever he was seeing. Plus, Marlena will at some point be asked if she knows who shot EJ by Belle. The look on Marlena’s face in that scene tells us she does. That means EJ must remember who did it. Learning Johnny is actually guilty would be distressing to EJ and Marlena might be reluctant to tell what she knows in that case as well. Given EJ was already working on the assumption Johnny shot him, it’s not out there to think he would want Marlena to keep silent about their session. But what if people are right, and it’s Rachel Black (Alice Halsey)? That would likely earn the same reaction from both. And, like most of the town, Rachel had reason to be upset with EJ. After all, he’s the reason her grandmother disappeared.

Elsewhere, a worried Paulina voices her concerns to Abe Carver (James Reynolds). There are several reasons for her to be stressing this whole Johnny situation right now. She was the one who insisted he be arrested almost immediately without even being brought in for questioning first. That upset Chanel DuPree (Raven Bowens). Plus, her daughter is also now on the suspect list after that video surfaced, and could be the key to EJ getting Johnny off on reasonable doubt. Which would then make Chanel the main focus and lead to a potential arrest/trial as well. Plus, Paulina is going to testify at that trial, a move that will surely not help her daughter’s image of her, given what we saw Paulina say in the summer preview.

Finally, Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal it’s time to get down to business. Johnny’s trial finally kicks into gear, and it’s bound to have a lot of drama involved. We keep thinking it will have a good outcome for Johnny, given another clip from the summer preview, but one never knows. And there is plenty that can still be revealed, we’re sure.
