    Days of Our Lives spoilers for Thursday, January 29 reveal Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) fell for the trap. Meanwhile, Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves) makes a promise, but will she really keep it? Plus, Chanel DuPree (Raven Bowens) pays someone a visit. Here’s what you need to know.

    Days of Our Lives spoilers for Thursday, January 29: Taking the bait

    First, Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal Johnny did just what Kate DiMera (Lauren Koslow) hoped. Last time, he discussed Bonnie Lockhart’s (Judi Evans) book with Kate. It looks like he (and the editors) moved fast—maybe. On Thursday, January 20, he gives good news to Bonnie. Which means one of two things. Either he tells her they’re considering the book, or he outright offers her a deal. We seriously think One Rainy Afternoon is probably awful. Which is  why it just happened to get into Johnny’s hands. We know Kate’s doing her best to use Johnny’s tenure to help Titan. A massive publishing fail would definitely be helpful there.

    Days of Our Lives spoilers for Thursday, January 29: Promises, promises?

    Elsewhere, Jennifer promises to help Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn). We assume this has to do with Thomas DiMera (Cary Christopher). Thomas has been a little bit too pushy, considering he’s the kid here. And Chad’s been very clear that he doesn’t want Thomas to use Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) being in town to have a fit and go right back where they started. Or use it to ignore rules he doesn’t like.

    We’re guessing Chad is going to reaffirm what he told Thomas about he and Cat living in the same town. They are bound to cross paths from time to time, and that needs to be accepted and not misunderstood as a reunion. Plus, he’s likely to want Jennifer to back him up when it comes to making sure Thomas doesn’t take advantage of this whole situation. Which wouldn’t be a problem is some of the adults in the room hadn’t been egging the kid on for so long. #JustSaying

    Days of Our Lives spoilers for Thursday, January 29: Visiting day

    Finally, Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal a surprising pairing. It seems Chanel reaches out to Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd). We can sort of see why, as she is the baby’s biological mother. However, Sophia was also going all-out to try and stop the adoption. So, we really don’t see anything good coming of this. Watch this be another brilliant decision to help Sophia “deal with things” that will likely not help at all.
