CBS ‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers finds that today, as we all know, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) called Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) out on going too far. Yes, that’s right, the King of Schemes himself called someone out on what was arguably a high school level prank. Okay, granted it wasn’t funny that years and years of Brooke Logan’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) sobriety went down the drain because messing with people’s addictions is not cool and he was right about that. But… seriously? This is Thomas Forrester we’re talking about. The same guy who went and made Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) believe that he took a nice long acid bath in the name of teaching her a lesson.

Messing with someone’s sobriety is never cool, messing with someone who has an illness is never cool. But really Thomas, did you ever stop and think that maybe messing with the mind of a grieving Mom wasn’t cool either? Did you ever think that Hope could maybe, just maybe, have a mental condition that you were taking advantage of and that’s why she was letting you walk all over her? Certainly, you didn’t think that kind of behavior was normal, did you? Or if you did then I don’t even want to know what kind of kink you and Caroline Spencer (Linsey Godfrey) were on.

I’m sure when Thomas finally gets a slap on the wrist and ends up in a cushy rehab joint he will play the victim and blame someone with taking advantage of his mental condition and it won’t matter who he feels is ultimately at fault poor Hope will end up bearing the guilt of it all even when it won’t be her fault because that’s just the way narcissistic abusers work. But I digress, let’s unpack the thing that Quinn did to Brooke.

Quinn spiked Brooke’s drink with alcohol. Now we’ve already touched on the gravity of the situation that yes it was too far, messing with Brooke’s sobriety like that, but ultimately, in the grand scheme of things, in comparison to the things that he’s done, I’ve seen worse, more soul-shattering pranks on episodes of America’s Funniest Home Videos. Quinn has never outright ruined someone’s life, she’s not out to ruin Brooke’s marriage she just wanted some petty revenge for Brooke coming in and attacking hers. She simply wanted her to see how it felt to be made out to be the fool.

Honestly, though, Quinn better watches aligning herself with Thomas. She had better give that a good, long, hard thought because she is not Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flanery), nor will she ever be. Thomas does not feel the same way about her as he would his actual Grandmother. In fact, I’m pretty sure there might be a level of contempt for Quinn as well considering how he sneered at her way of getting back at Brooke, thumbing his nose at her and basically telling her he could do better. If she aligns herself with Thomas then chances are the only one who’s going to end up smelling like a rose is going to be Thomas in the end.
CBS ‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ Spoilers: If Quinn Trusts Thomas The Picture Will Look Pretty Dark
If Quinn trusts Thomas then he will manipulate her into doing something so beyond the pale that the only credibility that’s going to be called into question will be her own and that will get not only Brooke but her ousted from the Forrester family as well because as we’ve all seen, if Thomas is miserable, everybody is going to be miserable and he means it. Until Thomas is happy, or unless Forrester Creations transfers him to another branch, whichever comes first and let’s face it he’s here to stay because they need him, he’s a talented designer. Then nobody’s place in the family is safe. He’s out to play the ultimate game of chess and rid the Forrester family of the extraneous members that don’t align with the men of the family.
CBS ‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ Spoilers: Would Eric Intercede?
There’s the million-dollar question. Eric’s already told Quinn to cool it when it came to Brooke, but would he intercede and tell Thomas to lay off if he got wind of Thomas’s dirty dealings? So far Eric doesn’t really seem to know the magnitude of what his Grandson has done and I’m pretty sure if he ever found out he would be cursing ol’ Massimo Marone’s (Joseph Mascolo) name because we all know where the real genes came from. Seriously though, if things went too far whose side would Eric be on? I’d hope Quinn’s but if he took Thomas’s then you could say senility was setting in. Good grief.

Either way, Quinn needs to watch her back. She may be in a good place now but she’s really not in a position to be trusting the wrong person since she isn’t the original Matriarch. And Thomas needs to stop judging because it maybe later rather than sooner but one day he will meet his match when it comes to scheming and when he does? He’s in for some pain.
