After fleeing from a Florida rehab just earlier this week, Bam Margera has been found in a nearby hotel after he was reported missing. Apparently, Bam was in a hotel in Delrey Beach after bouncing from the rehab facility where he was court-ordered to stay.
Police and a crisis intervention team found him Wednesday and escorted him back to the center. Bam went voluntarily and didn’t put up a fight. Margera was reported missing on Monday after taking off and police went looking for him.
Bam Margera Has Been Found After FLEEING Florida Rehab – Taken Back For Treatment
Bam had recently completed one year in a drug and alcohol treatment program and it’s believed that he DID NOT relapse, though there is some uncertainty because he’s been off his medication since running off. It’s said Bam had some frustrations with the rehab center because he was not getting ‘special treatment’.
In the past, Margera has had stints at other rehab centers and was treated differently because of his celebrity status, though this one didn’t do that, so he grew frustrated and left. There are also claims that they were not providing him with enough care for his broken wrist, which he sustained in a skateboarding accident recently.
We will the best for Bam and hope he continues to get the help he needs. He has been a legend, not only in skateboarding but for ‘Jackass’ and hope he is able to maintain a clean lifestyle.
