Bam Margera hasn’t had the easiest go in life but he found a spot in the ‘Jackass’ franchise with Steve-O and Johnny Knoxville, though it looks like those times have come to an end. Margera recently when on a 10-minute long rant about his suicidal thoughts and about how he’s being shut out of ‘Jackass 4.’
He continued by begging his fans, “If anybody cares about me don’t go see their movie” and asked for money to make a competing project. The videos have since been deleted but things took a very dark turn when he mentioned having suicidal thoughts. He spoke about how his wife, Nikki Boyd, found him searching how to tie a noose.
Bam Margera Wants Fans To Boycott New ‘Jackass’ Movie
Bam has struggled with addiction and substance abuse and said ‘Jackass’ put him through hell for a year and half. He went on to claim he was forced to take anti-depressant pills while filming on past projects.
Margera admitted to chugging a glass of wine and seven beers before posting the videos and said he thought it was ironic he wouldn’t be in ‘Jackass’ because he claims he was told he was being a jackass on TMZ.
It’s terrible what Bam has gone through in his life and the videos were no help. If he’s out of the franchise, the other guys involved may be looking out for his best interests. Many of the cast members including Steve-O have spoken publically about how Knoxville had always cared about their wellbeing and helped him get clean.
While the videos were taken down, you can still watch them over at TMZ. It’s tough to watch, and it looks like Margera is really struggling. The videos are just him venting and you can tell he’s clearly been drinking. It’s truly a terrible way to see him and we hope Margera gets the help he needs and gets better.
