‘The Bachelorette’ spoilers find that there has been a lot of tension surrounding Bachelor Nation host, Chris Harrison, stepping down from his duties on the hit ABC shows.
One of the former cast members of the Bachelorette, Rachel Lindsay said that she will not renew her contract after hearing about the racist remarks that have been made by Harrison.

Lindsay is in charge of hosting the Bachelor Nation podcast and has been part of the Bachelor Nation for a few years now.
She has made cameos on the shows and now she has spoken out about her contract and what is next for the show. “I’m f******g tired. I’m exhausted. I have truly had enough. My entire reason for doing the Bachelorette -and I was lucky that it worked out for me in the most beautiful way in finding Bryan- is that I wanted to be representative as a Black woman to this audience. And I wanted to pave the way for more people to have this opportunity. In some ways that has happened. I wanted the franchise to be better. I have a love-hate relationship with it. I’m connected to it. It did stuff for me and I’ll never forget that.”
This is not the first time Lindsay has spoken out about leaving the franchise. In the middle of the Black Lives Matter movement, she was very open about how she would walk away from the show if the Bachelor didn’t cast a Black man.
She went on, “But how much more do I want to be affiliated with this? How much can I take of things like this? I said I was gonna leave if they didn’t have leads of color. Okay, they did that, and they made some other changes. They hired a diversity consultant- who didn’t attend the class? Did Chris Harrison not sit through that? I’m confused as to how you could have consultants working for you, yet what happened just happened.”
She went on to say, “I can’t take it anymore. I’m contractually bound in some ways. But when it’s up, I am too. I can’t do it anymore.” The comments that Harrison made were all about one of the favorites on the Bachelor right now, Rachel Kirkconnell.
Her past behaviors, many seen as racist, have come back up on social media and fans are very upset about it. Harrison made some offhanded comments to her about it too and his comments have been seen as tone deaf and racist.
