’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers reveal that Yara Zaya just spilled is pretty interesting. Apparently the streets of Ukraine are cleaner than the streets of New Orleans. We can kind of believe that when it comes to Bourbon Street on Mardi Gras but when Jovi and Yara went it looked like it was just a regular day, at the time of that filming i don’t think Mardi Gras had happened yet, so I’m not sure why Yara was complaining about the smell.
Then again, I’ve never been to Bourbon Street so I’m not sure how it smells on the daily. I would hope that that’s not how it smells on the daily, but Yara sure did seem offended by it.
’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers: New Orleans culture?
Another thing that Yara didn’t seem to take too kindly to was the fact that Jovi Dufren, her fiance, wanted her to spend the night at his Mom’s house. She said that the idea was stupid and that she didn’t want to spend the night there at all because she didn’t like spending the night in other people’s houses.
You know, I’m not exactly going to judge Yara for that because they are a young couple that are in love, and if they want to be together, then that could definitely get awkward during the middle of the night at his Mom’s house. Maybe Jovi isn’t a stranger to bringing home girls to his Mom’s house, but not every girl is going to be cool with that.
Could Yara been a little bit nicer about it? Arguably, but honestly, she’s allowed to set her own boundaries. Jovi keeps saying that this is a matter of New Orleans culture, but in all honesty I’ve never seen any part of New Orleans culture that points to spending the night at one’s Mom’s house when one is a grown, engaged man, to be part of that.
So, I’m not sure why Jovi is pushing spending the night at his Mom’s, it’s not really a part of any culture in the USA. This is a personal preference, and I think it’s one he’s going to have to let go of. Stay tuned!!!
