British Royal News says Amanda Gorman has taken to her Instagram account sharing a photo with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. The poet features on Meghan Markle’s latest and penultimate Archetypes podcast episode titled Beyond the Archetype: Human Being. Here’s what she has to say.
“I find it so inspiring to listen to women who are clear on who they are, unwavering, not waffling, confident, in spite of whatever barriers they may have seen in the foreground,” Meghan says. “And as I thought about closing this episode and how I could just bottle up that feeling, that inspiring feeling of liberation when you shed all those fears of judgment and you sit in your authenticity. When you allow yourself to be human and to be.”

Meghan goes on to introduce Gorman and her “powerful” poem. As the podcast episode became available on Spotify, Gorman shared on her Instagram account: “Beyond thrilled to have had the honor of speaking with The Duchess on her podcast, Archetypes, where I spoke on the power that women possess as changemakers. Thank you so much for having me!”
Back in October, Meghan said on her podcast that she was very well aware of all the nasty things that people say about her. She says that most women are called crazy as a way for others to minimize their problems. She told listeners: “Raise your hand if you’ve ever been called crazy or hysterical, or what about nuts?
Insane, out of your mind, completely irrational, OK? You get the point. Now, if we were all in the same room and could see each other, I think it would be pretty easy to see just how many of us have our hands up? By the way, me too.”
Meghan added: “Calling someone crazy or hysterical completely dismisses their experience and minimizes what they’re feeling. It keeps going to the point where anyone who’s been labeled it enough times can be gaslit into thinking that they’re actually unwell or sometimes worse, to the point where real issues of all kinds get ignored.”
