So, right now, ‘General Hospita’l spoilers indicate Britt and Jason are searching for Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati). This search brought them to Greece, where they recently learned Liesl was being held in a cell in the Cassadine compound. And that a needle was found there, which indicated they drugged Liesl and took her elsewhere. This was a reason for hope, in Jason’s eyes. But we think this journey is about to take Britt to an unexpected place.

It was pretty disappointing to us to learn Britt had the gene she was so afraid of. We love the character, and we didn’t want any outcome that might lead to her departure from the series. However, there’s a fan theory out there that makes a lot of sense to us.
Some people are wondering if the diagnosis was faked. It wouldn’t be the first time a character messed with medical tests, right? This would allow Britt to stick around and maybe get some peace in regards to the fear she’s carried around for so long. Because, if true, once her fake diagnosis gets revealed, we’re pretty sure the real story was she’s healthy and has no reason to worry Huntington’s will take her down, as it did her father. There’s at least one good reason for this theory. Well, besides it being a cool thing on soaps to mess with medical exams.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Baiting a trap?
It is pretty obvious who would be behind this, if it’s true. ‘General Hospital’ spoilers indicate Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaugnessy) wanted Liesl with him. He had plans for her, and he went to great lengths to make that happen. Including drugging her and Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) with gas after a fake plane emergency. And shoving Scott out with a parachute attached. So, it turns out Victor has a bit of a heart, as he allowed Scott to live.
Not long ago, Scott found out the charter plane was a scam, as was the conference Liesl was to attend about genetic diseases. Clearly, Victor’s been keeping an eye on Liesl, so maybe he was watching Britt as well and ordered someone to give her fake results that would indicate the worst. It would be the perfect way to lure her in, while putting Liesl in a vulnerable state of mind. We’ll have to wait and see if this is the case, but we’re hopeful.
