‘General Hospital (GH)’ spoilers reveal Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) and Ava Jerome (Maura West) are getting some… unpleasant messages/gifts lately. The most recent that comes to mind is the picture with a knife in it at Wyndemere.
Ava is convinced Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) is behind the harassment. Of course, the PCPD confirmed that Ryan is unable to physically do such things, though Ava thinks that’s not an issue with Ryan. But we’re thinking it’s someone else. Here’s what you need to know.

We think it’s Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig). First off, the idea if could be an ex of Nicolas’ was broached during the investigation into this latest communication. They took it seriously enough for Nicolas to question Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) about it. She, of course, denied it or wanting anything to do with Nicolas at all.
Plus, there’s another reason it’s not her. Come on, Britt has had way too much going on between her job as Chief of Staff, the Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) mess, and her recent time as a fugitive. And let’s not forget that she just found out she has the marker for Huntington’s Disease. So, let’s look at why we think it’s really Hayden.

Recently, they’ve been dealing Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) and his failed attempt at parole. Which, by the way, was revealed to be partly Nicolas’ doing. Not to mention Nicolas was trying to buy Pentonville.
When asked about his motivation for the purchase, Nicolas said one thing, while thinking about him being the guilty party in Hayden’s shooting. Not Shawn. So, there has to be a reason they’re bringing that back into the forefront. But there’s more.

Nicolas hasn’t had an easy return. General Hospital spoilers indicate his family was angry with him for faking his death all that time. And his son still isn’t really speaking to him. Partly because of the thing with Ava. Not to mention all the terrible things he did when he snuck back into Port Charles, all in the name of revenge on Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).
One of these things was to hire people to terrorize Hayden while letting her think someone else was behind it. He pretended to be worried and implored her to disappear. Hayden hasn’t been seen since, meaning she’s been away from her daughter for a long time. She left her with Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), as Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) would be safer that way.
Well, we have a feeling she figured out the truth. And she’s getting ready to come back with a vengeance, which we’d totally understand. Sure, few in Port Charles have the hands completely clean, but that was a very low move. We think it definitely deserves a little payback, and we’re hopeful karma is on its way back to town.
