General Hospital spoilers for the week of May 24th reveal things are getting real. The weekly promo, titled, “Boiling Point” promises a lot of Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), as well as Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson), and Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) decision. Of course, some fan reaction is a bit mixed. Let’s take a look at what’s ahead.

    General Hospital spoilers: Plans

First, General Hospital spoilers reveal Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) appears to have big plans this week. Of course, this will likely be all about stopping Cyrus. In the promo, she asks someone if they have the team ready. We don’t know what, exactly, she has planned, but we do know she was determined to get Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) to squeal on him.

The thing is, later in the promo, Cyrus appears to be making plans of his own. He’ll tell Peter August (Wes Ramsey) they have more to do. And we’re suddenly getting visions of how wonderful her plan to stop Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) from returning Cyrus’ mother. Why? Because Carly says, “No” in the clip, and she’s not sounding happy at all.

As for some other characters in this mess, Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) is already feeling those fatherly instincts. In the promo, he says “Cyrus can go to Hell.” Looks like someone isn’t willing to keep away from Sasha or the baby, no matter what the risk. And it looks like Sasha will be confiding in Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) about the situation.

    General Hospital spoilers: Danger

Elsewhere, Nixon Falls is about to turn up the drama. Last week, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) discovered what Elijah Crowe (Dan White) is really up to. Nina has plans to continue digging, against Sonny’s advice. This week, that could prove to be a mistake, as Sonny will insist that to Lenny Caufield (Riff Hutton) that Nina is in trouble because of Elijah. And there’s a cop standing with them, so we’re guessing Sonny sounded the alarm all over.

    General Hospital spoilers: Decision time

Finally, there’s Britt and Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) pit stop on the run. This is one of the things that seems to have the strongest reaction among fans. In the clip, Jason and Britt look about two seconds from a kiss. Likely, they’ll be getting to Britt’s choice to get that test or not. Some fans are loving the chemistry between these two.

One person said, “I love you, Jason and Britt for getting back on the run together again and getting closer which means they are about to kissing each other”

Others, however, aren’t so thrilled with this choice. One said, “I hate this Britt/Jason & Dante/Sam thing. I’ve always only liked Jason with Sam and Sonny with Carly.”

Personally, we’re going on record as being totally for this pairing. They’re doing a great job, and it’s a nice change of pace.
