ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers for August 5th reveal the first week back continues to bring the big hits. It also will continue the drama we’ve already been introduced to the first two episodes. We’ll also see some friendly bonding between Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy). Let’s see what the promo and teasers say.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: ELQ problems
First, we saw Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) continue his play for ELQ this week. On Wednesday, things will escalate in a couple of respects. To start, the promo shows Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) tell Valentine to give her what she needs or she’ll blow him out of the water.
This sounds like she’s either trying to get him to use influence to help triumph over Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), or she’ll want his help in making the Quartermaine family pay for her almost assured loss. We’ll see.
Elsewhere, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers say Valentine propositions Sam McCall (Lindsay Hartley). He’d been talking about getting the vote proxy she controls, so this should be interesting. Yesterday, things went down that make us wonder if she’s ripe for such a thing. Stay tuned.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Family?
Last we remember, the custody hearing was in recess. It looks like that might change tomorrow. But we’ll likely first see how things went down in the meantime. Scenes from the promo show Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) say she, Michael, and Wiley make a great team. Over the course of the episode, it looks like she and Michael will get closer, which the writers have been setting up for a while.
However, it won’t all be happy times Wednesday. At some point, Nelle demands to see Wiley. Might she try to take off with him again? That’s another possibility for her earlier conversation with Valentin. She’d have to be stupid to think she can win yet, so it’s very likely she’ll turn to drastic measures.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Girl talk
On the lighter side of things, we’ll see Diane and Alexis bonding tomorrow. We guess she’ll be in a bad way over the disbarment thing, because Diane asks how Alexis gets her mojo back. We love her. She might be iffy in the courtroom, but she’s fun with the other characters.
Elsewhere, someone will be meddling. A clip from the promo shows Neil Byrne (Joe Flanigan) saying this is between him and Alexis. We’d say Sam is the one getting involved based on her conversation with Alexis Tuesday, but she also got other things to worry about by the end of the episode. So, it’s possible Diane could be the meddler instead.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Bad choices
It seems no matter what Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) does, he can’t win. Ultimately, he made the decision to put Mike Corbin (Max Gail) on that feeding tube. In fact, a scene in the promo shows a doctor saying Sonny will be informed when his father is ready to be put under. However, it’s possible he won’t go through with it, as teasers reveal he has a crisis of conscience.
