ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers finds that star James Patrick Stuart (Valentin Cassadine) says that while his pint-sized co-star Scarlett Fernandez (Charlotte Cassadine) might not get the same amount of screen time like some of the adults on the show do, she’s someone that you can’t ignore. In fact, James had nothing but words of praise for the young actress, who often delivers her lines with a powerful punch each and every time she’s on the canvas. Here’s what he has to say.
Speaking to Soap Opera Digest, the actor said, “Working in soaps, you find a lot that the scenes that you least thing you are able to do end up being the most satisfying. I had a day like that when Valentin decided that he had to give up fighting for custody of Charlotte for her own good. I could never do that; my kids would be doomed! But my goodness, Scarlett was so good in those scenes. She loves acting and she makes choices quickly, but she’s also flexible, she listens – I mean, that moment where she put her hand on my cheek when Valentin was being arrested, that was her choice, and it just wrecked me. It was just such a good, grown up choice that she made. She’s becoming a little lady, with more mature choices, not just the obvious, I’m a cute kid choice.”

James Patrick added, “You know how every time there’s a kid in a scene and they need to get rid of them, they say, ‘Why don’t you go get ice cream?’ I’m waiting for the day she said, ‘I don’t want ice cream!” and decides to stay in the scene!” With that said, we have a feeling that Scarlett has a long and prosperous and of course successful career ahead of her.
