ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers indicate that fans are finally learning a little something about Trina Robinson, her past, her family and what might also be in her future. That’s because she has a new father that she can hopefully count on. Of course, we are talking about Taggert. Here’s what you need to know.
When asked if she was excited to find out that Trina would finally get a family member on the show, her portrayer Sydney Mikayla says she absolutely was. Trina now knows that her father is Marcus Taggert and not Curtis. She tells Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, “I wanted to know more about her back story. I tried to kind of write a bio for Trina, but every time I did, something would kind of change, like, every time I thought I had a fact it wasn’t really true, so it was really hard trying to guess, ‘Who are her parents? Who is she related to?’ So, finally getting a dad definitely helped answer some questions and I was so glad.”

Mikayla also said that it was exciting to share scenes with actor Real Andrews. In fact, she had nothing but positive things to say about him. The actress continued, “He’s again, just so professional, he knows the ropes of ‘General Hospital’ and gave me some great advice, like just to put your best work in. He’s like, ‘You know, I’ve worked on some great soap operas, but ‘General Hospital’ is definitely one of the best.’ He definitely knows all the ropes and I really wanted to follow in his lead with his professionalism and the way he was able to carry so many scenes and just do them all so well.”
