ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) is back. We saw him return just before the hearings took over Daytime. To celebrate his return to the series, Steve Burton (Jason Morgan) and Bradford Anderson (Damian Spinelli) had the actor on their podcast. The show was an hour-long talk about everything Taggert, GH, and other stuff. Here’s what you need to know.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Interesting dynamic
The talk began by discussing an interesting aspect of the show. Taggert’s a cop, devoted to truth and justice. ‘General Hospital’ spoilers indicate his morals were part of what drove him out of town. But on this show, he’s the bad guy. The mobster is the one who the fans are rooting for. We love that dynamic because it’s different than a lot of other shows out there. They also spoke a bit about how easy it was to fall back into things after years off the show. However, Réal made sure to mention how different it was as well, as they had grown as people and actors by then.

ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Challenging times
We loved his candid talk when it came to sobriety. Real shared how he finally came to grips with reality of getting fired for his behavior on sets, instead of holding on to the story he quit. It’s a great thing to see someone who struggles come back, stronger and more self-aware.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Fun facts
During the interview, he also talked about getting into martial arts. We’re sure that skill must come in handy while taking down the bad guys on TV. Due to his bullying as a child, he has zero tolerance, and Real isn’t shy about wanting his own kids to stand up for themselves. He was also a jock in school.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Creative beginnings
They joked during the podcast it was a bit unusual for a bullied kid to get into acting. Apparently, being an actor wasn’t exactly his dream. However, when an opportunity presented itself, he went for it and we guess we can saw the rest is history. We’re sure a lot of GH fans are happy about that.
Speaking of the show, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers indicate that when the show comes back, we can expect a lot of action from him. Taggert will be a big part of Jordan’s latest storyline, a mission to find out what really killed her former partner. To learn more about the chat, check out the podcast here.
