ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is back in Port Charles. Many fans were begging for Sonny to come home and so far, Sonny has been mixed for us. He seemed very calm about what’s happened while he was gone, however, we saw some harsh Sonny as well. Let’s take a look at how things went down and what we see ahead.

First, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal the story is a tough one. A man just got his memories back after nine months and realized the person he fell for was lying to him the whole time. And now, he came home to a bunch of crazy developments. From our POV, we believe Benard has been nailing every moment. He goes from calm and accepting, to rage, to obvious pain effortlessly. And watching him and Cynthia Watros (Nina Reeves) play this out shows once more what a great talent she is as well. We can’t wait to see more moments between them in the future.
One nice touch was Sonny avoiding telling the whole story of what happened to him in Nixon Falls. He could have easily thrown Nina under the bus right then and there, but he didn’t. One could argue that he figured now is not the time to add to the situation, but we think there might be more behind this.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Is “Mike” really fully gone?
So, there was a great scene between Sonny and Nina this week after his return. He’d been visiting his own grave, while Nina came for another purpose. However, when she saw Sonny, she decided to approach him and once again apologize. Sonny showed barely controlled rage as he spoke about the pain his family went through and how they had to come to this grave for the past nine months. However, Nina handled things well.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers indicate that she did make her excuses for what happened, which were true and valid to her. However, she also made it clear she was wrong and she owned that. During their chat, their “relationship” came up and how Sonny felt led on. Despite all that, you could see in his eyes and voice and Sonny does still harbor some feelings he developed. Even if he’s furious with her for the lie and genuinely loves and is happy to be back with Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright). It makes sense. He spent so long in that town and their relationship slowly formed over that period. One can’t just erase that and what they experienced just because their memories return.
Bottom line is, no matter what Sonny says, there is still a part of “Mike” in him. That will likely be true for the rest of his life, and we think that will color some of his actions and decisions going forward. We’re curious to see how that plays out. One thing is for sure—someone better look out.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Spencer beware!
So, we all know Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) is the stalker. Ava Jerome (Maura West) made the decision to leave town due to this situation, not knowing who’s really tormenting her. When she stopped by the Corinthos home, she got the shock of her life when she saw Sonny alive and well. When he learned about the stalker and how he’d gotten into their daughter’s room, Sonny lost it. The rage in him when he slammed his fist on the table and cursed the stalker’s actions made it clear he’s got his first order of business.
We would not want to be Spencer when Sonny learns who was behind the situation. Sure, we don’t see him actually harming Spencer—at least, not seriously. But we do see Sonny putting the fear of God into Spencer. As for Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl)? She better leave town now, because Sonny won’t be so gentle with her.
