‘General Hospital (GH)’ spoilers reveal we’ve had a bad view of Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). She is, after all, keeping Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) in the dark about his past.
We get he’s said before he doesn’t want to know, but we do feel she should have at least said, “I know who you are. Do you want me to tell you about your past and your family?” However, we actually sort of felt for her in the September 9, 2021 episode. Let’s talk about why, why Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) is right, and how this might end up.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Losing it?
First, General Hospital spoilers indicate Nina might be losing her hold on reality. Even after being confronted by Jax and hearing what her choice has caused, she still persisted in begging him not to tell anyone. We gotta give Watros props here.
Her performance was awesome and it made us really feel for her. Why? Because you could see this is a woman who’s on the edge. Too hurt by her past and desperate for peace and healing. And now it’s been threatened by Jax’s arrival and the confrontation that “Mike” (Benard) witnessed.

Honestly, we don’t see this ending well. We said before Jax wouldn’t be able to keep quiet. General Hospital spoilers indicate he does, in fact, now see Sonny as the lesser of evils and is feeling too bad for the family to entertain Nina’s fantasy life in Nixon Falls.
And not to mention his valid concerns for Nina. She’s been living a lie for a while and allowing herself to immerse more in it ever day. Jax won’t be able to live with himself knowing the damage Nina’s doing. Not only to herself, but to others in Port Charles.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: What we see
Honest, we see one outcome right now for Nina. She’s clearly, again, losing herself in a fantasy world that’s not built to last. Eventually, she’s going to have to face that and we think it will hit her hard. She’ll likely have to be in some serious therapy for a while over her behavior. However, we also think there’s one person who might still be on her side.
That would be “Mike” himself. He’s not a stupid man and clearly has all the Sonny instincts. So, we can’t imagine he doesn’t realize Nina knows who he really is. And that she hasn’t told him. The flashbacks he had to all the things Jax said before Nina asked “Mike” to leave make that clear.
However, near the end of the episode, he threw the watch—the link to that past—away. So, if Jax wants Sonny back in Port Charles, we have a feeling he’s going to have to go behind both Nina and “Mike’s” backs and alert the authorities. Or just call Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and others to tell them. Because we don’t see “Mike” giving up this new life without a fight now.
