ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Sofia Mattsson Reveals Her Accent Secrets!
Sofia talked about how her sister was having so much fun and it looked like something she would like too. She applied for her visa, got it, and came to the United States to give modeling and acting a shot. Mattsson had one slight problem when she came here. She had to completely master English and speaking it with no accent whatsoever.
Sofia grew up in Sweden and that is where she was most of her life. She had to work very hard on her accent. Sofia has been in the States for 7 years now and her American accent has been perfected. So, how did she achieve this feat? She started speaking English by listening to people speak and then she would practice every day.
When she moved to the states, there were not many Swedish friends or people for her to communicate with, which may have helped her some too. She would just speak English and repeat herself throughout the day. Practice makes perfect and if you did not know Sofia was from Sweden, you would never know that her accent took some time to perfect.
