CBS ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers tease that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) will once again try to outmaneuver Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), but unfortunately for him, he will be left unsuccessful. This has prompted a lot of people to wonder why Liam keeps fighting for Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), knowing that he’s already lost this battle so many times to Thomas. Here’s what you need to know.
Liam tries to put Thomas in his place, but the outcome isn’t what he expected. Instead, a defiant Thomas laughs in his face when he tries to point out that he’s been using Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) to his advantage.

Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, actor Scott Clifton, who plays Liam, puts it this way, “Thomas laughs Liam off, but Zoe overhears part of that conversation and what she hears is Liam accusing Thomas of using Zoe in order to get closer to Hope. Zoe asks Thomas is that’s true and Thomas says absolutely not and that Liam is paranoid and crazy.”
Of course, fans know that Liam is not crazy at all, but unfortunately there’s no one in this fictional town of Los Angeles that is willing to listen to him. That has prompted a lot of fans to wonder out loud: why is Liam even trying at this point? Sure, he might still love Hope, but there’s a very slim chance that she will ever get back together again with him. And that’s not because crazy Thomas has put himself in the middle of things. But rather, because Hope caught Liam kissing Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) on the same day that he proposed to her.
The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: What’s Next For Liam?
With that said, it will be interesting to see if Liam will continue to fight this fight, even though Thomas is clearly in control of this situation. Hope has been so deeply and emotionally manipulated by Thomas, that it will take a miracle for her to ever get out of it. Until that happens, ‘Bold and the Beautiful’ fans will be keeping their fingers crossed!
