ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal we’ve mentioned some issues with these repeat episodes. Namely, getting hooked on an angle and not getting to see what’s next. It looks like GH came very close in a couple of instances this time, which we loved. One dealt with the live episodes we checked out on Amazon. The other, brought us closer to another arc’s end. This one started during the Nurses’ Ball episodes. Let’s take a look at what happened, and a couple of highlights.

    ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Resolution

First of all, we recently checked out a couple of episodes available on Amazon Prime. These were live episodes, two of which were produced. In one, we watched Nina Reeves (Michelle Stafford) marrying Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) to spike Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth). We loved the comedy in the scene, where Franco apparently was driving the priest crazy by objecting over and over. The episode they chose for today gave resolution to that, while also bringing the comedy.

ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Resolutions, accusations, and good enough

After the wedding, Ric apparently did a lot of horrible things to try to make Nina believe she’d lost it. She’d been locked up, and this episode saw her free and ready for revenge. Lucky for her, Franco was there and ready to help. These two used his own tactics against him before forcing him to sign annulment papers. Watching Franco and Nina work together added a new layer to their interactions for us, as well as making us wish they’d team up again. Their gleeful expressions through their revenge and their quips were fun. Also, this version of Stafford’s Nina was far more fun to watch than the later version, where she was being a thorn in Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) side. It gives us a renewed appreciation for the actress. Although we still like Cynthia Watros.

ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Close enough

In other General Hospital spoilers, a Nurses’ Ball episode showed Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) making the decision to hide Jake is really Jason Morgan (Billy Miller). It was a decision that would later come back to haunt her during the Frankendrew (Howarth) debacle. However, in this next entry in the Sonny and Carly Corinthos (Maurice Bernard/Laura Wright) week, she had changed her mind. Elizabeth was apparently having trouble living with herself. Desperate, she decided to tell him the truth. While they got interrupted, the episode ended with her admitting she’d done something terrible. It was close enough for us, we guess. Depending on how things played out, we might see it addressed tomorrow. The next episode originally aired one month after this one.

ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Drama in the ER

Ironically, the greatest moments of this episode had nothing to do with the couple the week focuses on. This next moment is a good example, although somewhat related. After a horrible attack that left Sonny in the ER, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) visited him. This moving scene featured a son distraught over his father’s condition, yet furious over what led to it. It brings up a sticky point in Sonny’s character. Dante was raging about the fact that Sonny had chosen such a life and how this now put him in danger. He also criticized him for choosing not to walk away. Of course, after he got done unloading, Sonny’s heart monitor went crazy. It cut off there, leaving us wanting so much more. Obviously, Sonny survived, but it would be interesting to see how it played out and what effect this had on Dante.
