ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal we’ve been seeing a growing rift between Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) and Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero). It’s all centered around her ill-fated visit with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and her desire to go see him in the first place. Let’s take a look at how harsh that actually was, and how it might bring her closer to Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers).

We think the writers are working toward a brief, at least, temptation between Olivia and Robert. They’re both hurting right now for varying reasons. They’re both being discouraged and dismissed by people about important things. Plus, this past week brought another reason for them to get closer.

Now, we’ll be fair. ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal Ned did say he was worried about the possibility of her getting rejected by her son. It’s a fair argument. It also turned out to be true.
In one of the hardest scenes of the week, Olivia was told she could come in to see Dante. But whether Dante opened the door and spoke to her would be on him. She was in tears outside his door, begging him to let her in.
Instead of, at the very least, speaking to her through the door quickly to let her know he loves her to and just doesn’t feel ready yet, he stayed silent. This left Olivia a mess, crying on the floor. Lucky for her, Robert was there to help her help and offer some support. Here’s where things get crazier, though.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: The clincher
As if fate was trying to give them an excuse, Olivia had promised to return Robert’s kindness by going to Holly Sutton-Scorpio’s (Emma Samms) memorial. While she stepped away a minute, Robert got a weird call where he heard what sounds like Holly’s voice.
He doesn’t know if she’s really alive, or if it’s a recording. All he knew was, he definitely heard her voice. After calling in a favor, he got a lead as to where the call came from.
Now, Olivia wants to come with him to help, and she refused to take no for an answer. Even knowing he’s got to head into potentially dangerous territory. And we have a feeling Ned won’t like it.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Play it smart
If we were Ned, we’d watch ourselves. Olivia’s in a vulnerable place right now. If Ned gives her too much grief about this trip, or says, “I told you so?” He’s going to be on shaky ground.
