ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers indicate we’ll see a familiar face eventually. Casting news has Brooklyn Rae Silzer and Philip K. Boyd on their way to Port Charles. Daytime is all about the comings and goings, which we think is part of the appeal. You never know who’ll be popping in, and most of the characters are fair game. So, what’s the deal with the appearances? Here’s what you need to know.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Emma’s Back!
The biggest news is the return of Silzer, who plays Emma Scorpio-Drake. For newer viewers like ourselves, she’s the daughter of iconic Daytime character Robin Scorpio-Drake (Kimberly McCullough). This is a bit of a surprising move to us. We actually got a glimpse of her previously, because the character was in one of the first episodes we watched. ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal she visited Grandmother Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) back in December of 2018. But what does she have to do now?

Her mother, Robin, has obviously been MIA for quite a while. There’s a good reason for that. McCullough has built a great career as a director, and she recently announced her retirement from acting. Although reports suggest she might be open to ‘General Hospital’ cameos. It’d make sense for her to still do the occasional appearance there, at least. She basically grew up on the show. So, what’s her daughter doing back in town without her?
It’s hard to say without more information. The only information available is she’ll be coming back on the show. Nothing has been made public about when she’ll be back on screen, or for how long. So, the story obviously depends on how long she does stick around.
If it’s only a few appearances, we guess it’s just a random visit that will maybe give us an off-screen Robin update. However, if she’s around a while, we assume the writers will devise an emergency or major work opportunity that forces Anna to step up and take in her granddaughter. We’ll be looking forward to seeing what direction this goes in. Especially with Anna currently in a mess over Peter August (Wes Ramsey).

As for Boyd, we have a couple more concrete details. Reports suggest the actor, who’s appeared on both ‘Days of Our Lives’ and ‘Young and the Restless’, will play a character named Tony. Other reports suggest he’ll be on the next episode that airs. When that will be, we’re not sure. Currently, ABC isn’t airing GH due to the hearings. Which no episodes going online, and no definitive date for the hearings to be over, it’s anyone’s guess when this episode airs. But we’ll keep you posted when it does. We have a hunch this Tony might be connected to the recent war on Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard). ‘General Hospital’ spoilers indicate several attacks on places and people connected with Sonny happened Tuesday, January 21st.
