ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers finds that Courtney Hope plays the fiery redhead Sally Spectra on The Bold and the Beautiful, but come July 20th, General Hospital’s projected new production date, she could be pulling double-duty on the soap during love scenes with boyfriend Chad Duell, who plays Michael Corinthos.
Since all the actors are practicing social distancing with each other and only performing love scenes with either their significant others, or in some cases, a well-made doll, Luckily for Duell however, his girlfriend is a pro at love scenes.
It looks like for the time being that Michael Corinthos’ lover, be it either Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) or Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattson) will be portrayed by Courtney Hope, at least for the steamy scenes. This will definitely make things more believable between Michael and whomever he may be dating at the time. However, while we definitely know that Courtney is comfortable in front of the camera, what about the other significant 9thers who have been slated to play their lovers’, well, lovers?

Thing is we can’t really tell just how this is going to go down until we see the first scenes. The pairs could have amazing on-screen chemistry or they could suffer from the Joey Tribbiani phenomenon which means to have amazing on screen chemistry means you can’t be, ahem, sampling the merchandise off-screen. I think we can safely say that Chad and Courtney have it made, both being soap vets.
Also. We wonder if this will affect the plot any, since all 3 actresses have different hair color there is probably going to he a lot of wigs involved and low lighting. But what of there’s dialogue during those scenes, are they going to have the significant other say the lines and then go back and have the regular actress dub over it? I mean, that’s always an option.
I’m not looking a gift horse in the mouth at all, obviously the more significant others that the soaps get on board for these kinds of scenes, the more realistic that they’re going to be and that is going to make f9r better ratings.
But some significant others didn’t sign in for this and are not comfortable with the idea of being on-camera. In that case I wonder just how those doll scenes are going to work. Man, that would make an interesting ‘behind the scenes thing’. Hm, anybody else going to play ‘spot the difference’ when they do their first love scene together? Stay tuned!!!
