ABC ‘General Hospital'(GH) Spoilers finds that we all watched as what Trina Robinson (Sidney Mikayla) thought was Dev Cerci’s (Ashton Arbab) wildest dreams came true when Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) kissed him. While Dev was certainly shocked, he respectfully declined Josslyn’s physical offering. But, what could truly be behind that because he wasn’t really sold on a relationship with either girls. He wasn’t that into Trina, and now he’s all but rejected Josslyn, so what could be the reason behind that?

His original excuse to Josslyn could hold some water. After all, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) is the one who’s currently keeping him in the United States and as far as Dev is concerned he hasn’t exactly proven himself to Sonny yet. The only thing he’s done for Sonny so far is work at his coffee warehouse and been trouble to Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) who’s offered to look the other way a few times when Dev has bungled things. One could argue that their involvement with Dev ended up killing one guy, remember the coffee warehouse supervisor that got iced? That was connected to Dev’s blunder at the warehouse, while it didn’t end up being actually their fault, it was certainly a catalyst in the incident. Dev not wanting to tick Sonny off in fear of getting iced could definitely play a role in it.

Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) has made his dislike for Dev very apparent, shall we say. He didn’t like how close Joss and Dev were becoming and when he found out about Dev being in the country illegally, the first thing he did was go and Lord it over Sonny. Sonny was at least honest with Dev and told him that Jax could have an impact on whether or not his stay in the United States was a smooth one or not, so perhaps that is another reason why he is so reluctant to be with Joss currently. That could be a very good reason. If I had a choice between going back to a war-torn country and staying in a relatively cushy joint in the U.S., then I think I’d be playing my options safe too.

Finally, we come to the reason that you clicked on the article, to begin with. There is a chance, albeit it slim, that Dev could just not bat for the particular team that Joss and Trina happen to be on. Dev could be Gay, or even Asexual. So far, he hasn’t expressed interest in boys, and an only mild interest in girls, so there’s a possibility that he just hasn’t discovered his truth yet, or there’s a possibility that Dev could also be just not into anyone at all. Consdering this is a soap, I would make bets on the former rather than the latter, but there’s always that one, special case and you never know.
