ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) just can’t seem to win. We did some brief reading on her a while back and that seemed clear. Plus, we’re seen a lot of indications of this over the time we’ve been watching.
She talked a length about all these terrible situations in therapy sessions. But this time, we think we have a winner for “Crappiest Day Ever.” Here’s what you need to know.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: The pairing
So, it seems GH fans are a bit divided on this one. Some like the Alexis and Neil Byrne (Joe Flanigan) pairing. Others think it’s boring and Alexis needs someone better.
Personally, we’ve always liked it. Their therapy sessions were amusing, for starters. He seemed to lighten her up a little bit, and we believe that was badly needed. In between all the drama she usually gets sucked into, it’s always good to have someone who helps balance that out.
That allows the person to be 100% authentic and goofy. Which, let’s face it, they could be. Unfortunately, it looks like fans of this pairing are now out of luck.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: The ending
When Alexis seemed to freak out a bit after feeling how cold Neil’s feet were, fans were upset. However, some were hopeful it might be a dream. It wasn’t. After all the things that pulled them apart and all the back and forth punctuated by a few moments of connection and a couple dates, it was over.
See, they finally decided they were done. Alexis and Neil wanted to be together and they didn’t care about the loss of their careers this relationship caused.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers indicate they spent a night together that apparently went very well. Maybe a little too well. Alexis pulled a Rose Nylund (Betty White) and found him dead. Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) was there to lend support, but Alexis is deeply wounded. We’re not happy, yet hopeful.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: What we think
First, we think this was a bit of a tease. They could’ve at least let Alexis enjoy his company for a while, even if it ended up this way. Two, they did it in a way that is the most hurtful to the character possible.
That makes the waste of this possible relationship worse. Three, as if to prove just how evil writers can be, his wallet was left with Alexis. She found a ticket to Aida in it. Can we say, “Adding salt to the wound?”
This seems poised to bring her spiraling back into addiction. We’re not fans of yet another relapse. We really hope the writers will go in another direction with her. Maybe having this inspire her to a new career path, or make her less likely to over-analyze and lose out, like she did with Neil.
