Now that Darcey wants to relaunch House of 11, now she has to talk everyone into moving back to LA. LA was their homebase when they first started their business before, and with all of their connections being back in LA, it would only make sense that Darcey would want to go back there and get things done.

However, the thing is, Darcey now has two other people in her life besides Stacey to convince to go out to LA with her, and that is her daughters, Aspen and Aniko.

Her two girls are at the age at which moving could either be an incredibly good thing, or an incredibly bad thing. They’re teenagers, and I’m not exactly sure how much time they’ve spent on the east coast before now. If it’s only been a couple of years, then, moving back wouldn’t be that big of a deal.

However, if they really like the east coast and have a lot of friends in the town that they’re in right now, even with the advent of always being connected via social media, this move might just be social suicide.

Sometimes east and west don’t mix, and being a kid on the west coast when you’re an elementary school age or pre-teen kid as opposed to when you’re a teenager is completely different. Different social politics, after all.

Darcey did an admirable job of asking her daughters if they were on-board with moving back to LA. She may have a questionable handle on relationships, but being a Mom, at least judging from this conversation, she does a pretty good job of.

She didn’t spring it on her girls, she actively asked for their input and told them that she would only do it if they were on board. They said that it would definitely be an adjustment, but that they were ready to go someplace sunny and warm, and her oldest daughter wanted to go to college out in California anyway and she only has 2 more years of school left, so the timing was pretty good.

The daughters themselves have nothing but good things to say about their Mom, it was adorable watching them say that they would love to be her red bottom shoes just to see what she does all day.

Darcey was over the moon about her daughters enthusiasm, and what Mom wouldn’t be? I’m glad that they’re all excited about the move… so what’s this next season going to be, Darcey and Stacey take LA? Hah! Stay tuned!!!
