Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) is determined to get revenge on her brother, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel), for what she perceives as his wrongdoings.
Kristen Holds EJ Responsible for Rachel’s Situation
She somehow holds EJ responsible for everything that’s happened to Rachel Black (Lorelei Olivia Mote), even though her daughter shot EJ, but he still vouched for her to a judge that it was an accident.
While it’s true that EJ made Rachel’s grandmother disappear, Rachel had behavioral issues before that. She helped Rachel Blake (Roslyn Gentle) held Brady Black’s (Eric Martsolf) then girlfriend, Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) hostage at Aremid (spells DiMera backward!).

The ten-year-old’s behavior only escalated after she shot EJ. She catapulted a pumpkin meant to hit Cat Greene (AnnaLynn McCord), but knocked Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) down for the count.
Rachel also almost killed Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) by switching Sarah’s ice cream order with her own, pistachio, which Sarah is deathly allergic to. Shooting her uncle EJ was considered an “accident,” but that’s up for debate.

The list of young Rachel’s misdeeds is long. That said, she has the potential to change and, later on, become a better person and a balanced, stable adult. Right now, Rachel still has a chance.
There is no denying that Kristen loves Rachel. She went to prison to protect her. However, she can’t see clearly what Rachel truly needs as she’s too close to the situation.

Rachel is currently at Bayview, and Kristen blames EJ for that. However, Rachel is a child and must learn to take responsibility for her actions.
Kristen thinks that Rachel doesn’t belong at Bayview. While she’s correct that Bayview is a joke of a mental facility, with security and staff supervision so shoddy that it’s unheard of in reality, Rachel does need help.
Kristen Is Set to Ask Xander to Kill Someone
Kristen’s solution is to have someone killed. She had ordered Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) to kill EJ’s son, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman).
However, Sophia failed her mission. DOOL spoilers indicate that this week, Kristen offers Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) a job. She wants Xander to kill.

The question is whether that person will be EJ or Johnny. It’s undoubtedly one or the other. Some fans are speculating that she’ll ask him to kill Johnny, while others suspect this time it may be EJ.
It’s possible that Kristen may decide to eliminate EJ. After all, EJ is her enemy, not Johnny. Yet, that didn’t stop her from trying to have Johnny killed before.

It seems like it might be a bit foolish for her to ask Xander to kill Johnny. It would definitely call too much attention to her with EJ.
EJ already suspects that Kristen tried to off his son. He’s watching her like a hawk. Any move made against Johnny would immediately cast suspicion on her.
Xander Has Several Reasons to Decline Kristen’s Job Offer
Plus, Johnny had a near-fatal outcome when Sophia tried to blow him up. DOOL wouldn’t likely have Johnny suffer through yet another life -or -death ordeal.
Not to mention, Xander has undergone a major transformation in the last few years. He’s no longer a hitman for the mob. If Xander were to kill Johnny, he may not be redeemed so easily by the audience. Then again, look at Kristen.

Additionally, Xander has his little girl, Victoria Kiriakis (Angelica Nero), to consider. It would only give Sarah an ironclad excuse not to let Xander see his daughter.
However, Johnny is slated to leave the Peacock soap since he was let go in January. Johnny has to leave one way or another. We have no idea what the writers have planned for Johnny’s exit.
We have to wonder which direction the show will take with this. Either way, we can’t see DOOL ever letting go of Dan Feuerriegel as EJ. He’s an absolute treasure.

Stacy Haiduk, who plays Kristen, said in a recent interview that DOOL had put her characters (Kristen and Susan Banks) to bed for now. She hasn’t filmed at DOOL for months now.
It stands to reason that EJ stops Kristen before she commits another heinous act. In the end, Kristen’s persistent thirst for revenge against EJ may land her in prison.
