‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers pose the question: WouldCane Ashby (Billy Flynn) being a bone marrow match for Malcolm Winters (Shemar Moore) drive Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) back into Cane’s arms?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Cane Has Never Gotten Over Lily
Y&R fans know that Cane has never gotten over Lily and has taken every opportunity he can to let her know that he wants a family reunion with Lily and the twins.

Right now, Malcolm is struggling to find a bone marrow donor to treat his aplastic anemia. Unfortunately, Lily can’t be a donor since she had cancer herself.
His son, Holden Novak (Nathan Owens), isn’t a match, and neither are Lily’s kids. Lily is worried about how long it will take to find a match for her dad.
However, Cane has stepped up to get tested, and his sweet gesture incredibly moved Lily. We have a feeling that Cane will end up being a match.
Of course, if Cane saves Malcolm’s life, it’s bound to lead to a long-awaited reunion between Lily and Cane. Cane truly believes that he and Lily are soulmates, and it’s only a matter of time before they get back together.
It’s the oldest trick in the soap book: the most unlikely solution in the world is typically the one that ends up being the case!
Cane being a match for Malcolm would not only be a miracle but also a major game-changer and a chance for the former couple to reconnect and start over.
Lily obviously wants to see that Cane is a good man, and this may be his chance to prove it! Plus, with Malcolm’s life on the line, Cane can be the sounding board and shoulder to cry on that Lily needs right now.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Lily Sees Cane in a New Light
Lily is struggling with the guilt of not being able to help her father. Cane’s support during this life-or-death crisis has opened her eyes and revealed the truth about him.
Although Cane and Lily have been separated for a very long time, we can expect Lily’s heart to thaw as she’ll undoubtedly melt into his arms.
Up until recently, Lily was furious with Cane for his deception in France. She believed this led to her former boyfriend, Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers’s), death.
Lily even helped Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) stage the twins’ kidnapping, even though she was actually involved in the scheme. She desperately wanted payback for Cane’s perceived betrayals.

Cane was understandably upset with Lily for pretending to be kidnapped. Making him worry sick over her and their children, and essentially lying about her being in danger. Cane was ready to write Lily off for good.
Not to mention, the whole thing was a setup to coerce Cane into giving up his takeover of Newman Enterprises. How many times did Victor do the same thing?
Lily was also very judgmental and self-righteous with Cane when he first returned to Genoa City. She told him she wanted nothing to do with him. There has been a definite push-pull between them.
However, this situation is making her see Cane in a new light. In fact, we wouldn’t be surprised if Cane’s selfless act resulted in a summer wedding and a new chapter for Cane and Lily.
“I love working with Billy. He’s amazing! He’s so fun and funny, and we have a lot in common and get along, so it’s been really fun to work with him. And to have it be a different version of Cane, like a whole new Cane, has been really fun to explore, because it’s a brand-new Lily and Cane.”

The actress added,
“When you have chemistry with someone, I think you can kind of feel it when you’re acting with them.
I felt that way with Billy right off the bat,”
She shares.
“It was like, ‘This feels really good.’ And when you hear people say it, you’re like, ‘Okay, cool! We’re on the right track.”
