‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers suggest that Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) believe Victor Newman (Eric Braden) is finished and that they are on top.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Lily Will Likely Give Victor Her Blessing to Trick Cane
However, Genoa City’s newest power couple may be in for a rude awakening. Victor never stays down for long. He already has a plan to neutralize Cane.
Recently, Victor tasked Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) with finding Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and the twins. Victor wants Cane to think that Lily and his kids have been kidnapped.
However, Victor told Adam that they wouldn’t really be in danger. His goal is to leverage Lily, Mattie, and Charlie to broker a deal with Cane.
We have a feeling that Lily may be in on this kidnapping drama. Victor may contact Lily to ask for her help making this happen.
Lily already sent Cane a text earlier this week, expressing her disappointment in Him for stealing Newman Enterprises from Victor and his family.
She knows that Phyllis and Cane used the AI software to eviscerate Victor and his company, leaving them as the majority shareholders.
By now, Lily is disgusted with Cane and his shenanigans. She may decide to team up with Victor to make Cane pay for what he’s done.
It would make sense for Lily to be involved since it would be an actual crime to commit a kidnapping and all. We can see Lily helping Victor with this scheme, especially since they won’t be in danger.
The storyline also coincides with Christel Khalil’s maternity leave. We likely won’t actually see Lily make a deal with “the Mustache,” but the storyline will play out nonetheless.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: This Could Be Victor’s Only Chance to Win Back His Legacy
Plus, we all know that Cane would love to play hero to Lily and the kids in an effort to try to win them over. He’ll definitely be ready to swoop in and save the day.
Victor will undoubtedly trick Cane into believing he’s seriously holding Lily and the children hostage and will only cut them loose in exchange for Newman Enterprises.
It may be Victor’s only chance to win back his legacy. Lily may agree to all this under one condition: the AI must be destroyed so that it’s no longer a threat to any other companies in Genoa City.
Cane and Phyllis’s primary goal was to stick it to Victor. However, they may also have their eye on Jabot. Lily will want to make sure that everyone is protected.
Cane has been nothing but trouble for the Newmans and the Abbotts since their vacation from hell in France. When he was pretending to be Aristotle Dumas.
The Winters have also been on guard, including Lily. She doesn’t trust that Cane would stop at Newman. His original intent was to conquer the world.
Lily’s partnership with Victor seems inevitable. It’s likely that Adam and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) may also only agree to follow through with Victor’s orders if Lily is actually onboard with the plan.
No matter what happens, we know that it will only be a matter of time until “the Great Victor Newman” is back on top.
