‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers pose the question: Has Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) finally reached her breaking point with her husband, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard)?
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Brook Lynn Finally Called Chase Out
In the February 5th episode of GH, Brook Lynn finally called Chase out on his never-ending obsession with clearing Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) and blaming Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) for Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) shooting.
Brook Lynn believes that Chase isn’t looking at the situation clearly, as there were plenty of other possible suspects. And she’s 100 percent right. Brook Lynn asked him why he can’t let this go.
Chase huffed and puffed and declared that both she and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) had acknowledged that Michael was capable of shooting Drew but refused to accept he likely did it.
Chase had fully expected Brook Lynn to agree with his BS, but Brook Lynn is starting to get fed up with him. He’s biased toward Willow but won’t admit it.
Chase’s single-minded goal of proving that Willow is innocent has hurt his career as a cop, and now it’s hurting his marriage to Brook Lynn.
Poor Brook Lynn has been nothing but patient and loving with Chase over this situation. She even praised him for always seeing the good in others, but it has come to a point where Chase is ruining his relationship with Brook Lynn’s family.
We’re starting to wonder whether Brook Lynn deserves better than Chase. Has Chase forgotten who Willow’s twin sister is?
Psycho Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) slashed Brook Lynn’s throat a couple of years ago, which is the reason she can’t sing anymore.
Willow is cut from the same cloth. After all, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. It’s a shame because Brook Lynn and Chase are one of the few stable, happy couples in Port Charles.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Chase Wants to Pin Drew’s Shooting on Michael
Chase is constantly trying to pin the crime on Michael, Brook Lynn’s cousin. She’s been putting up with a lot from Chase lately.
Chase even tried to interrogate Brook Lynn’s grandmother, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), over “breaking into” Drew’s house to reclaim her family heirlooms, which Drew had stolen from her.
Also in the episode, Chase discovered that Michael had a key to Drew’s house, which Willow had planted on him in the hopes of framing him for attempted murder.
So now, Chase sees this key. He’ll likely go rogue to prove that Michael shot Drew, which is a giant step too far. He lived in the Quartermaine family mansion.
Chase’s marriage to Brook Lynn should be his priority. If he wants to stay married to his wife, he needs to make more of an effort with her family. He should not try to put one of their own in prison.
We all know that Willow is trying to frame Michael for a crime that she committed. She’s convinced that putting Michael behind bars will give her full custody of the kids.
Instead of trying to compromise with Michael, she’s making the situation far more difficult than it needs to be.
Chase claims to want to start a family with Brook Lynn, but it looks like all he cares about is Willow. Not his career, not his marriage.
Brook Lynn should really issue Chase an ultimatum: give up his fruitless quest to pin Drew’s shooting on Michael, or be kicked out of the house!
