‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers: Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) has a hectic life. She manages Blaze’s (aka Allison Rogers, played by Jacquline Grace Lopez) singing career and works with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) at Deception.

That being said, Brook Lynn and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) have new responsibilities as Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) has come to stay with them at the Quartermaine mansion this summer.
Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) cleverly blackmailed Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) to acquire 51 percent of Deception. Tracy planned on working with Brook Lynn and eventually giving her the company.
But Brook Lynn has always wanted to steal Deception from Lucy and give it to Maxie. The girl has three children to feed and struggles to make ends meet.
Not to mention, Deception was just a side hustle for Brook Lynn. As a creative dreamer, her passion is music. She can’t sing anymore, thanks to Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier), but she is a good manager and now the owner of a new record company.
Recently, Brook Lynn, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), and Natalia Rameriz (Eva LaRue) sat down to discuss the recent scandal of Ava Jerome (Maura West) giving a secret recording to the editor-in-chief of the Invader, Adrian DeWitt (Dietrich Gray).
We all know the recording is Blaze’s mom’s negative view of gay people and the LGBTQ + community. She also has very strong opinions about Blaze’s relationship with Sonny’s daughter, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi).
Natalia certainly hurt Blaze and Kristina. That’s why Sonny offered to fund a new record label on the condition that Brook Lynn, not her mother, is the one to guide Blaze in her career. Brook Lynn has Blaze’s best interests at heart.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Violet Needs Security Now More Than Ever
Brook Lynn also has a new husband, Chase, and the two of them want to have time to nurture their relationship as newlyweds. They didn’t even get to go on their honeymoon to Italy.
Brook Lynn and Chase agreed to decrease their workload and spend more time with Violet, who desperately needs a mother and father figure now that Violet’s dad, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), is in rehab.
Violet now needs routine, normalcy, and security, and the couple wants to provide that for her.
Tracy had initially wanted Brook Lynn to have Deception, but once Brook Lynn explained to Tracy that Violet needed her right now, she indeed wanted what was best for her.
Tracy hates Lucy and will never give her back the company anyway. Brook Lynn may have an easier time persuading Tracy that Maxie deserves Deception, and she’ll know how to make it an even more significant success, especially after the PR nightmare that occurred with Natalia’s recording.
Brook Lynn and Maxie have been close ever since Brook Lynn pretended to be Baily Lou Jones‘s (Riley and Miley Plonski) mother to protect her from the evil Petter August (Wes Ramsey).
It makes perfect sense for Brook Lynn to help Maxie. Brook Lynn loves Bailey Lou like a second mother and Maxie like a sister. Brook Lynn always aligns with family. How could Tracy argue that?
