‘General Hospital’ spoilers suggest that Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) have delayed their plans to start a family.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Brook Lynn Delayed Her Adoption Plans with Chase
Brook Lynn decided it wasn’t the best time for her to adopt a child, considering how Gio Palmeri (Giovanni Mazza) reacted when he discovered that Brook Lynn had given him up for adoption when she was a teenager.
Gio was shocked and heartbroken, mistakenly believing that Brook Lynn had given him up because she didn’t want him, which couldn’t be further from the truth. Brook Lynn was very young at the time and not ready to be a mom.
However, it looks like the relationship between Gio and Brook Lynn is progressing. Gio and Brook Lynn recently had a heart-to-heart after his father, Dante Falocneri (Dominic Zamprogna), lashed out at him.
Dante was furious after Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) went to prison for breaking into Professor Henry Dalton’s (Daniel Goddard) lab.
The teens were trying to score proof that Dalton was testing on animals, but when they entered, there was no evidence of animal experimentation, and Dalton had Rocco arrested.
The break-in was Gio and Emma Scorpio Drake’s (Braedyn Bruner) idea, and Dante coldly accused Gio of sacrificing his brother to impress a girl.
Understandably, Gio felt hurt and rejected by Dante and sought solace in Brook Lynn. He finally called her mom, and it was a beautiful and poignant moment.
Now that Gio and Brook Lynn are on the right track, it seems like the right time for Brook Lynn and Chase to revisit their plan to adopt a child.
Fans know that Chase is sterile and isn’t capable of producing offspring. Chase was very disappointed to learn this. However, Brook Lynn and Chase were both eager to move forward and pursue adoption instead.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: A New Baby Would Bring the Quartermaine Family Closer Together
However, when Brook Lynn found out that Gio was the son she had given up for adoption years ago, she decided to wait. Gio struggled with the fact that Brook Lynn gave him up, but he seems to be finally coming around.
It could be the perfect time for Brook Lynn and her family to embrace a new addition. Nothing brings a family together like a new baby, little girl or boy.
Right now, there is some tension between Chase and Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) because Chase is frantically trying to prove that Michael’s ex-wife is innocent of shooting Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), even at the expense of Brook Lynn’s favorite cousin.
A child may remind them both that family is the most important thing. Maybe it would even convince Chase to stay out of the investigation.
Plus, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) would adore a new great-grandchild, and Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) would gush over another grandkid.
Plus, we can also see Gio being a true big brother to the kid, bringing Brook Lynn and Gio closer instead of driving a wedge between them.
The situation could be a significant turning point for Chase and Brook Lynn. It may be time to revisit the conversation about adopting a baby.
Hopefully, the couple decides to move forward with the adoption plans. Chase needs to focus on his wonderful wife, Brook Lynn, and their plans to start a family, rather than working to free Weeping Willow.
