‘General Hospital’ spoilers ask fans if Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) got what he deserved or if Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) has gone too far?
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Drew Has Made Everyone’s Lives Miserable
In the January 21st episode of GH, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) bluntly commented that karma finally came for Drew.
Let’s look at the facts: Drew has been making everyone’s life a living hell for years. He’s caused unspeakable pain for many.
He blackmailed Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and has threatened Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) relationship with her daughter.
He also won’t allow Scout Cain (Cosette Abinate) to see her late mother, Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) side of the family; he left Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) for dead while he was having a heart attack.
Not to mention, he was trying to frame Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) for his shooting, and really didn’t care whether he was guilty or not, and the list goes on and on and on.
We’d literally be here all day if we had to list all of Drew’s transgressions. Truthfully, he’s the worst of the worst, a sleaze bucket, extortionist, and a terrible father.
Plus, who gets shot, almost dies, and doesn’t care about uncovering the truth about who the real shooter is? Meanwhile, he is trying to pin the crime on an innocent man out of spite. That’s some next level BS.
However, some fans are wondering if Willow went too far in getting revenge on Drew, especially after she was literally just given the gift of being acquitted for attempted murder.
Admittedly, it’s fun watching Willow take Drew down and succumb to her inner Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier), but she could have maybe handled her situation a different way.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Drew Ruined Willow’s Life and Is the Reason She Can’t See Her Kids
Now, the handful of people who know that she shot Drew will be rightfully suspicious of Willow. Plus, Drew could be a vegetable stuck in locked-in syndrome for the rest of his life.
Does Drew deserve to be fully conscious but unable to speak? Perhaps there is no better form of retribution than that after everything he’s done to others.
Drew is selfish, calculated, and an all-around miserable person. He’s also ruined Willow’s life and is the reason why Michael doesn’t want Willow to have a relationship with her kids.
On the other hand, Scout has already lost one parent. Now she’s facing the loss of another one. Yet, Drew isn’t exactly father of the year anyway.
The only person who shed a tear for Drew at the hospital was his wife, Willow, and she was only putting on the performance of her life. A close second to the sweet, innocent act she put on during her trial.
Plus, it’s almost impressive and pure genius that Willow used her medical training as a nurse to enact her lethal plan against Drew.
Our girl was sneaky and smart enough to carefully dispose of the needle she used to cause Drew’s stroke when no one was around.
In a way, Willow may be the hero who will finally take down Drew. She did what everyone has wanted to do for months. On the other hand, she may also deserve her own bit of karma.
That said, we’re just having fun watching Willow embrace her dark side and risk her freedom to bring down the most despicable man in Port Charles.
