‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal that in a recent interview with TV Line, co-head writers Elizabeth Korte and Chris Van Etten hinted that Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) bond with his daughter, Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke), “may be the death of him.”
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Carly May Come to Regret Letting Valentin See Charlotte
Viewers know that Valentin has teamed up with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) to bring down Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna). Carly is livid that Valentin recruited her daughter, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), into the WSB.
Valentin is a fugitive who has been hiding out in Carly’s attic. Brennan is determined to find Valentin after he busted him out of Steinmaur, a maximum-security prison, and bring him closer to Charlotte.
Carly may come to regret allowing her emotions to get the best of her and bringing Charlotte to visit Valentin during Christmas. Charlotte may even play a role in the danger that’s headed Valentin’s way.
There’s no question that what Carly did for Valentin was wonderful and heartwarming, but there may be unintended consequences. After all, Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) knows that Charlotte went to see her father over the holidays.
The writers also told TV Line that Charlotte will flee from the cops guarding her, which means she may make her way to see Valentin, leading his enemies straight to him.
We can imagine Rocco telling Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) about Charlotte’s visit to Valentin. The information could somehow find its way to Jack via Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), who still owes him a favor.
He deleted crucial evidence in Willow Cain’s (Katelyn MacMullen) case. Now, Nina has been tasked with uncovering Valentin’s whereabouts. Charlotte is obviously the key.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Rocco May Betray Charlotte and Tell Lulu About His Sister Visiting Valentin
Rocco may betray his sister. Korte and Van Etten also explained that Rocco would set off a “string of events that would result in the departure of one citizen of Port Charles, and dire consequences for others.”
Is Valentin the one who’s leaving, and will his exit be fatal? Jack Brennan will undoubtedly be furious when he finds out about Valentin and Carly’s alliance. It may spell the end of the road for our favorite fugitive.
The scribes provided just enough information to have fans wondering if perhaps Valentin may meet his demise in 2026. It would definitely be shocking if the soap killed off such an intriguing and valuable character to the show.
Plus, James Patrick Stuart has famously not been on contract during his entire run as Valentin on GH. Stuart actually prefers it that way so he can work on other projects. He also moved to Oregon, making the commute to LA more difficult.
Technically, there are no guarantees for actors on recurring status. Again, though, that could have also simply been JPS’s choice.
That said, Frank Valentini has done that for other actors, like Wally Kurth, who plays Ned Quartermaine. That way, he’s free to play Justin Kiriakis on Days of Our Lives.
Valentin fans shouldn’t start panicking yet since nothing has been confirmed. The ominous clues provided by the writers might not mean that Valentin is really going to be killed off. Remember, this is a soap opera, where no one ever stays dead anyway.
