‘General Hospital’ spoilers suggest that Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) and Molly Lansing Davis (Kristen Vaganos) shared the perfect “rom-com” inspired kiss in the snow this past week, right in time for Christmas.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Cody and Molly Shared a Sweet and Romantic Kiss In the Snow
Cody and Molly have been circling around each other for about a year now, and in the December 22nd episode of GH, their slow burn finally culminated in a sweet and wonderful moment in which they shared a sweet, romantic kiss.
Of course, adorable Outback, who seemingly played cupid, was the reason why Molly stayed at the Quartermaine stables a beat longer after looking for “Cowboy Cody.”
She arrived shortly after Cody and Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) had a heart-to-heart about his feelings for Molly.
Tracy encouraged him to go for it, but Cody was ambivalent, thinking he had already blown his chances. Then Molly came to him.
The scene was set in true rom-com fashion as the snow was gently falling in the background, and Molly ran over to Cody and planted a big smooch on his lips.
Cody, both surprised and elated, kissed the girl of his dreams, and it was the start of a beautiful relationship. After several stops and starts, interruptions, and a series of very soapy, well-crafted near-misses, they finally connected on a romantic level.
We’ve watched Cody go from a shady grifter to a man worthy of someone like Molly, and his gradual and believable character transformation has been a joy to watch.
Meanwhile, sensible, level-headed Molly lets down her hair when she’s around Cody. The pair is truly a case of opposites attract meets friends-to-lovers story, akin to classic romantic comedy films like “When Harry Met Sally” or “The Proposal.”
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Molly and Cody’s Connection Is Genuine
The pair has a very charming and genuine energy. Molly and Cody’s relationship actually reminds us of an old-school soap opera love story. The kind where the couple builds an authentic, relatable connection through tension, anticipation, and meaningful personal growth.
There are often misunderstandings, like on Thanksgiving, when Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) made a drunken move on Cody at the Brown Dog.
Molly assumed Cody wasn’t really into her. However, they overcame numerous obstacles to get together, and for Molly and Cody, their patience and persistence paid off this week.
While Molly carefully considers her options, Cody dives into situations headfirst. In a reckless move that nearly cost him Molly, he accepted a financial offer from Molly’s sister, Kristina Corinthos Davis (Kate Mansi), to seduce Ava Jerome (Maura West).
He quickly realized his huge mistake and righted his wrong. Molly was reluctant at first, but her feelings for Cody and her trust in him developed at a believable, satisfying pace.
Molly and Cody have clearly prioritized their friendship above all else. They have taken the time to get to know each other without being blinded solely by their mutual physical attraction.

Watching them come together and admit their true feelings was an early Christmas gift for GH viewers. We can’t wait to see where Cody and Molly’s journey is headed.
