‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal that while Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) is in a coma, her late husband, Nathan West (Ryan Peavy), has come back from the dead.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Maxie And Nathan Had An Epic Love Story
Maxie and Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) have their perfect little blended family, complete with James West (Gary James Fuller), Georgie Spinelli (Lily Fischer), and Bailey Louise Jones (Riley and Miley Plonski).
Now that Nathan has been officially declared “undead”, he’s still legally Maxie’s husband. Throughout his life, James has only known Spinelli as a father figure.
Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) feels that James should know his father. Nathan has missed out on too many years of James’s life already. Nathan doesn’t even remember the past seven years.
However, he remembers that Maxie was pregnant when he was shot by Cesar Faison (Anders Hove). Memories that strike an emotional chord are often very powerful.
Maxie and Nathan had an epic love story that stands the test of time. While Maxie and Spinelli are cute together, do they really hold a candle to what Maxie and Nathan once had?
Spinelli no doubt fears that he’ll lose Maxie to Nathan. Fans are torn over whether Maxie should be with Nathan or Spinelli.
That said, Spinelli is hopelessly devoted to his “Maximista.” We still don’t know much about where Nathan has been or how he managed to stay alive.
However, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is sure Nathan and Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) “deaths” are connected to Cesar, who may not really be dead either.
Nathan’s resurrection could easily be part of an elaborate WSB cover-up, or perhaps he’s also involved with Professor Henry Dalton’s (Daniel Goddard) shady research project.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Many Fans Are Enjoying Maxie And Spinelli’s Blended Family
Many viewers enjoy the blended family dynamic that Maxie and Spinelli bring to the soap and don’t want to see Maxie break Spinelli’s heart. Spinelli had also planned on proposing to Maxie.
Kirsten Storms is in the process of acclimating her and her daughter, Harper Rose, to their fresh move to Tennessee.
When the actress returns to the show and Maxie awakens from her coma, she’ll need to choose which man she wants to spend the rest of her life with.
When Nathan died, Maxie was heartbroken. Many fans still talk about the moment he flatlined as she looked on in despair.
While some fans still consider Nathan the love of Maxie’s life, Spinelli has proven to be the anchor of Maxie’s heart.
Spinelli has played an irreplaceable role and stable presence in Maxie’s life, raised her kids as his own, and stood by her throughout her heart attack and subsequent coma.
Despite Nathan and Maxie’s tragic romance, Spinelli and Maxie have also had some magical moments in their relationship.
Spinelli has been especially adorable when he’s sang to her at karaoke nights at the bar and serenaded her with timeless love ballads.
Then again, we all know that Spinelli’s love for Maxie is selfless, and he may bow out gracefully if and when Maxie tells him she still wants to be with Nathan.
Nathan obviously still holds a special place in Maxie’s heart. Truthfully, “Naxie” vs. “Spixie” is a very close race. May the best man for Maxie win.
