‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers indicate that EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) has some twisted plans for University Hospital and the secret lab experiments he’s set to perform.
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Gwen Is EJ’s Secret Investor
Today, it was revealed that Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) is EJ’s secret investor who put up half the money to purchase the previously bankrupt hospital.
EJ finally shared his intentions with Gwen after she frantically hightailed it back to the mansion to inform EJ that Cat Greene (AnnaLynn McCord) saw the blueprint plans he has for the hospital.
EJ calmly responded by explaining that Cat only saw the public plans, not “the real ones.” He said that by November, the DiMera Family Free Clinic will be unveiled.
Yet, no one would suspect what “they’re really up to.” We have a guess as to what it might be. The DiMera family’s nefarious experiments often involve Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay).
In the Days summer preview, a figure in a white lab coat was shown walking slowly around a cryogenic chamber. We could hear Tony DiMera’s (Thaao Penghlis) voice saying, “It’s almost time, father.”
Tony was, of course, referring to the one and only Stefano DiMera (Joe Macolo). Dr. Rolf has brought the dead back to life numerous times.
Why wouldn’t the DiMeras use their scientific powers to resurrect the family’s infamous patriarch? Or, place his consciousness into another DiMera?
We know that the son of Wayne Northrop, the original Roman Brady, Hank Northrop, will soon make his debut in Salem.
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Is Stefan Returning To Salem?
Perhaps, Northrop is the new Stefan DiMera (last played by Brandon Barash). We doubt Barash would return, but a recast is possible. Stefan has been mentioned several times in the past couple of months. We doubt it’s a coincidence.
Stefan left town abruptly when his wicked mother, Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel), had him kidnapped and shipped off to Almannia.
Tony asked about Stefan a couple of months ago when he was concocting his own plans to reclaim DiMera and free the family company from Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) and Phillip Kiriakis (John Paul Lavoisier).
The Titan-DiMera merger has really gotten under Tony’s skin, and he’s making strides to reacquire DiMera. EJ also mentioned Stefan when Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) arrived at the mansion in the September 8th episode of Days.
Plus, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) has been having dreams about being Stefano’s Queen of the Night. Susan Banks (Stacey Haiduk) warned Marlena of the darkness inside her.
Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) told Cat that “they don’t call him the Phoenix for nothing.” He was, of course, referring to Stefano’s uncanny ability to come back from the dead.
“Nothing was more important to my father than eternal life,” EJ once said. We also have to wonder if Tony may really be Andre DiMera (Thaao Penghlis).
Andre has certainly fooled Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) before. Now we have EJ discussing the construction of this new wing at the hospital.
It would make sense for Dr. Rolf to make a comeback to resurrect the Phoenix once more. The Peacock soap has been dancing around Stefano’s return for months. Will EJ facilitate the return of Stefano?
