‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers suggest that some fans are torn on which woman Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) has more sparks with: Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) or Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Brennan And Carly’s Relationship Is Doomed
While we’ve enjoyed watching the chemistry between Brennan and Carly, this relationship is doomed. Unfortunately, Jack has been lying to her and recruited her daughter, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), into the WSB.
Now Joss is on a dangerous assignment in Croatia, and Carly has no idea that her daughter is involved in the spy game.
Jack sent Carly’s daughter on a mission that she likely wasn’t ready for. She’s with her handler, S. Vaughn (Bryce Durfee), but she’s in over her head.
Helping Joss after she killed Cyrus Renault in self-defense and keeping Carly in the dark about it was the first betrayal.
Recruiting Joss for the WSB was the second, and failing to come clean about all of it is the third. Carly isn’t a fan of secrets, nor is she the type of woman who forgives and forgets easily.
When it comes to her children, Carly doesn’t mess around. She’s a fierce and protective mama bear, and she’ll be livid with Jack once she finds out the truth.
We have a feeling that Carly’s romance with Brennan is on borrowed time, and when she learns that Jack recruited her daughter to be an agent for the WSB, her head will explode.
Anna figured out the truth and was about to tell Carly when Brennan intervened. He “kidnapped” her and brought her to his office.
He explained to her that if she told anyone, he’d toss her in Steinmauer for treason. This doesn’t sound like a love story, but there is a thin line between love and hate.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Brennan And Anna Have A Love/Hate Chemistry
Watching the two of them spar back and forth, it occurred to us that on some level, they may harbor a mutual attraction.
The police commissioner and the head of the WSB often look too close for comfort when they argue. Even Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) seemed to notice the chemistry between them.
Brennan and Carly have sparks, but so do Brennan and Anna. Brennan’s heart belongs to Carly, but he and Anna have a long and complicated history, and a romance between them seems inevitable.
Additionally, Anna hasn’t had a love interest since Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), and she’s long overdue for one. Vanna secured a strong fan following, but Jackly has their share of supporters.
Truthfully, it’s been refreshing to see Carly in a relationship with someone other than mob boss Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), and we all know they will reunite for the millionth time soon enough.
CarSon has such a devoted following that it wouldn’t surprise us one bit. Carly and Jack have been great fun to watch, but, sadly, a break-up is in the cards for them.
Brennan and Anna have some potential, and when Carly realizes that Jack has been lying to her, there is no doubt she’ll call it quits.
We can’t wait to see the fallout when Carly discovers the truth. It will split up a very entertaining couple, but the outcome will be very soapy.
