‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Anna Is On The Right Side OF The Law
Anna is a super spy de jour; when she’s determined, she can be ruthless. However, these days, Anna is on the right side of the law as Port Charles’s police commissioner.
Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) has recently been caught by Anna, who now knows he’s the head of Pikeman.
The most challenging part of Anna’s realization is that she and Valentin were romantically involved. Unfortunately, she still may have feelings for him.
Not to mention, Anna accidentally shot Valentin’s daughter, Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez), thinking she was an intruder in her apartment with a gun.
Valentin had been protecting Charlotte, whom Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) brainwashed. He turned her against Anna, and she tried to get her out of her father’s life.
This situation is why Valentin and Anna broke up. It was Valentin’s fault that Anna shot Charlotte, as instead of coming clean with Anna about what his daughter was up to, he covered up her crimes.
Anna couldn’t forgive Valentin for lying to her, and they went their separate ways. However, many Vanna fans were hoping for a reconciliation, as it looked like Anna would give him another chance.
Even though the former couple was playing a cat-and-mouse game, it seemed like they might find their way back to each other. After their “date” at the Metro court, he offered to cook her dinner.
Anna promised Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) that she would get the proof she needed that Valentin was guilty. Once that happened, he could stop working as an informant for the FBI.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: A Fatal Shootout Between Valentin And Anna
The very reason that Valentin tried to have Jason killed is because he knows too much about Pikeman. Valentin’s idea was straightforward: take Jason out and frame Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) for his murder.
In the June 4th episode of GH, we heard Valentin asking, “Is it done,” on the other end of a burner phone in Anna’s possession. She was shocked and hurt.
Now that Anna is armed with this information, it could lead to conflict or even a high-stakes shootout that may cause one to kill the other.
Anna could chase after Valentin, who is attempting to flee from justice, and they find themselves in a situation where they must draw their guns, and one of them catches a bullet.
From everything we’ve seen of Valentin over the past few months, we wouldn’t be surprised if Valentin was the one to end up dead.
It looks like the show has painted Valentin in a corner where there is no other way out. He messed with Sonny’s bipolar medicine, which was a stupid move. Tampering with someone’s medicine is beyond evil. It’s downright cruel and reckless. How could Valentine ever be redeemed?
It takes away from Valentin’s rooting value to have him do these evil deeds. The writing may be on the wall for him, and Anna could facilitate his demise.
