‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers suggest that Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) and Sasha Corbin’s (Sofia Mattsson) baby lie may backfire.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Someone Finds Out The Truth
Don’t get us wrong; we applaud Jason and Sasha’s insistence on protecting Michael Corinthos’s (Chad Duell) custody case. However, this fabrication of the truth could meet with a disastrous outcome.
If Willow Tait Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) or Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) find out the baby is Michael’s, they will use the information in court to tank Michael’s case.
There are a million ways the truth could come out; when it does, it will be explosive. Jason should know from his history that this may lead to trouble.
In Port Charles, nothing stays secret for too long. First, we commend Jason’s refusal to lie to his son, Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzn), about the baby.
However, Danny shares everything with his surrogate brother, Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr). Danny may tell Rocco, especially if Rocco misreads the situation.
Another way Jason and Sasha could get busted is if Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) figures it out. Michael asked for Sasha while he was fighting for his life.
That clearly indicates that they have a connection and implies he has something important to say to her.
Carly hasn’t put the pieces together yet, but when she does, you can bet the light bulb will go off at some point because Carly’s instincts are spot on, and she usually can sense when something is off.
Not to mention, Carly has directly experienced Jason pretending to be Michael’s father when she didn’t want A.J. Quartermaine (Sean Kanan) to know Michael was his son.
Jason also stepped up for Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) when she was pregnant with Sonny Corinthos’s (Maurice Benard) child, so this definitely isn’t Jason’s first rodeo.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: The Baby Needs Medical Treatment
Another way the truth could be uncovered is if the baby requires some kind of medical treatment involving a blood donation, which makes it undoubtedly clear that Jason couldn’t possibly be the father.
We think this may be the soapiest way the truth may be unleashed. Even though medical records are confidential, someone could release the information to the public, or somehow, shady congressman Drew could overhear the former deception model talking to a doctor at General Hospital.
Also, Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) has a heart condition, and it’s the same health condition that Michael had as a child.
There is a chance that genetics could play a role in Jason and Sasha’s lie being found out. Spoilers indicate that Sasha will open up to Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) in the coming episodes.
Maxie would never betray Sasha’s confidence, but we could see this secret accidentally being exposed if Maxie and Sasha discuss it in a public place or if Maxie lets the cat out of the bag to Damian Spinelli (Bradford Andreson).
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Michael Returns To Claim His Child
Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), discovering the truth, is another top contender. Tracy is inherently nosy and could quickly start snooping if she feels Jason and Sasha are hiding something.
While we highly doubt Tracy would spill the beans since she’s certainly no fan of Drew or Willow, it may be one person too many to know this secret.
Finally, Michael himself could always return to claim his child. He won’t be in Germany forever, and Michael is the type of father who wants to be actively involved in his children’s lives.
He could change his mind about allowing Sasha to raise the baby alone, especially if he decides it would be best for the baby to know their father loves them.
It’s hard to imagine Michael not wanting to know his child at some point, despite his promise to Sasha. In the end, Jason and Sasha won’t be able to keep the truth hidden.
