‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal that history proves Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) seems to be everyone’s favorite fake daddy.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Sasha Doesn’t Want To Harm Michael’s Custody Case
First, he went along with Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) lie that he was Michael Corinthos’s (Chad Duell) father in the 1990s.
Years later, he stepped up for Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) when she was pregnant with Sonny Corinthos’s (Maurice Benard) baby. Sadly, Sam’s baby, Lila, perished.
Now, spoilers for February 11th show that Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) will ask Jason to pretend to be the father of Michael’s child as we’ve come full circle.
It makes sense that Sasha doesn’t want to ruin Michael’s chance of getting custody of his children since his divorce from Willow Tait Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) is inevitable.
However, Jason is also a Quartermaine, even though he changed his last name to Morgan. Sasha wants to raise this baby on her own. She doesn’t want the affluent family to influence her child’s life.
She also saw that Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) kept Willow’s kids from her. Sasha won’t be willing to play Quartermaine games with her baby.
Sasha was also adamant when Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) was the father of her baby. Liam tragically passed away at General Hospital.
She made Brando promise her that his time in Sonny’s organization was over before she decided to raise the baby with him.
Despite Jason turning down Sonny’s request for him to take over the mob business when Sonny retires, Jason’s life is still filled with danger and unpredictability.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Jason’s Priority Should Be Danny
Jason isn’t neck deep in the mob, but Sam pointed out that he’s drawn to danger. Jason only realizes he doesn’t want to risk Danny Morgan’s (Asher Antonyzyn) life by running toward perilous situations like a moth to a flame.
Sasha had told Jason that she and Michael agreed she would be the one to raise his child, without any influence from the Quartermaine or Corinthos families.
Jason’s priority should be Danny, especially since his mother, Sam, was recently murdered. Danny needs his father more than ever right now.
If Jason focuses on Sasha and her baby, he can’t be the father Danny deserves. Plus, what happens if and when Michael returns from Germany?
Michael may have agreed that the best thing for this baby is for Sasha to be a single parent. However, he could change his mind once the baby is born.
Michael is the type of father who wants to be involved in his children’s lives. We’re not sure he’ll stick to the original script of Sasha bringing up this baby without him.
Jason is also like a father to Michael. It might be awkward for everyone involved if Jason steps into a parental role in this child’s life or if he falls in love with Sasha, which is also possible.
Jason is the only person who knows that Michael is the father. Since everyone believes Jason is her baby daddy, she’ll go along with it to protect Michael and her bundle of joy. Is it the best solution? That remains to be seen.
